Review 1：One of us had diffivulty using the stairs (and the signs pointing to the elevator or indicating it were not there). It might be hard to get to the hotel from Eisenach without a car.
Review 2：The house itself. It's just great, proximity to Wartburg, the feel of the house and Eisenach. Good value for money. They also seemed to have read previous revies, now there are signs on the way to help arrive there by car.
Review 3：Superb location, high overlooking countryside but a few minutes walk or drive from Bach Museum. very clean hotel, large rooms, lovely terrace with view of castle.
Review 4：Communication with staff assumed we were fussy about food, young waiter brought English menu, then we pointed to what we wanted, then he brought something from another page of the menu, then the managerrefused to even understand they could have made a mistake. We didn't order the wrong thing, we didn't get what we ordered. It was the only issue with food in two weeks of traveling.

Review 6：There was no fridge in the room, Curtains were plastic which took away the aesthetics of the view and windows. Bathroom was small compared to the bedroom but we were there only for a day so not too bad.

Review 10：The location of Haus Hainstein is very lovely. The grounds are beautiful and the Haus has a wonderful "old world" look and feel. Our room was very large and beautifully appointed. It even included a sitting area apart from the bed space. We had a view of Wartburg Castle. The dining area is special with excellent food for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast features are well supplied buffet with a variety of choices. We found the service staff to be friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.
Review 11：The location is great for access to the Wartburg, but, if you have a car, be prepared for a steep climb up some curvy streets to the hotel. Views were more than worth it though.

Review 15：It's a relatively steep climb to the hotel and no public transport so you'll need to be fit, own a car, or take taxis. No laundry facility.

Plenty of parking. Luggage trolley available. Large comfortable room with small, but perfectly adequate bathroom. You can walk to the castle in 20 minutes through a beautiful forest.
