Reviews for Hohenwart Forum

Review 1:The hotel is like a youth hostel. The restaurant looks like a factory canteen. It is not very cosy. Not suitable for a holiday.

Review 2:The hotel has a terrace and a friendly reception.

Review 3:There is nothing within walking distance in the form of restaurants or pubs. During the day everything on site is closed, and only opens after 17:00. Driving out is the only option for food or drinks.

Review 4:For the country lifestyle, this is great. Hiking here is a real pleasure.

Review 5:The heavily religious vibe here (it's a religious training centre) would put me off booking there again.

Review 6:It was clean, tidy and didn't look unlike The Shire from the air.

Review 7:a TV would have been nice - I appreciate that this was minimalistic Lutheran conference facility ... so perhaps a TV is considered a distraction.

Review 8:Spacious Room, good breakfast

Review 9:staff vacated the reception already before 10 pm on the date of my arrival - speak no English - room was fine but everything else was not - this structure offers youth hostel level for the price of a hotel - my room was in the same section where the hotel staff was accommodated - the breakfast sevice was a 100% youth hostel level, with no service whatsoever

Review 10:nothing

Review 11:No carpet on floor in the room.

Review 12:Staff is friendly.

Review 13:very unusual set up

Review 14:God overnight stay

Review 15:There wasn't really anything to dislike, but it is worth mentioning that this isn't a conventional hotel - it is a conference centre with rooms. The rooms are however spacious and comfortable. Great place if you want peace and quiet, but definitely off the beaten track

Review 16:The location was outstanding! A quiet site next to the forest. A real treat to get a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were superb - we spoke very little German and Bettina helped us find a restaurant in nearby (7 miles) Pforzheim. They had gluten-free bread for us for breakfast too.

Review 17:There is nothing in the room.No water, no glass, no hair dryer, no water cook, no stink iron, no iron plate. Bathroom is only 1m2. small... On weekend, they are drilling the wall, very noisy. I live more than 50 pension in germany. This is super bad. If possible, please choose another hotel. I do not suggest

Review 18:Traffic. There is an u15 in the near.

Review 19:We were placed on the top of staff entrance, meaning very early delivery : about 5.30. And it went on from that. But we were promised garden-view rooms on our next booking!

Review 20:The friendliness of staff running this establishment was amazing (except one). It's located in a quiet village, away from all the hustle. The young people living in it following the courses of Goethe Institute gave the place another dimension. Open buffet dinner and breakfast were exceptional and very generous. We were welcomed like family!

Review 21:The hotel is in the middles of nowhere. I don't know excactly but Iwould guess there was about 100 - 200 rooms. Says "buffet restaurant" -but had no restaurant?Reception closed at 20.00hrs and at 07.30hrs the following morning still no sign of anyone. In fact i checked out and left at a reasonable 08.00hrs and still nobody - left key on recpetion desk. Had to go in to village to get evening meal. No wifi ? Would not recommend this hotel at all for a business traveller

Review 22:The room was clean and spacious

Review 23:After 20h30 nobody is available at the front desk. Not even for openingthe door, I was standing outside the hotel until some other customer whoalready checked in came and opened the door for me. Very unpleasant!Since no one was available at the front desk, I could not be allowed toconnect to the internet. No heater in the room... The parking is 100maway from the hotel...
