Review 5：Free Wifi is only really available in the reception area, though occasionally an email would come through when we were in our room. There are plenty of seats and corners to sit in whilst browsing the Internet, so we didn't find it a problem.

Review 6：Hotel is only a few minutes walk from the towns shopping centre, river and Kaiser Park. Our room was quite large and at the back of the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by streets. The one outside our window was a side street, so not too noisy when the window was open. If you arrive at the train station with luggage, we would recommend you take a taxi. If you just have a rucksack, then walking is fine. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

Review 7：One of our beds was making noise with every move and the mattress was not very good either so that it was hard to fall asleep. Breakfast could be a bit better, e.g. the coffee or fruit. There was no Wi-Fi in the room; only exists around reception and the restaurant.

Review 8：Although on the main road, the location is rather good. Traffic is little during the night so that noise is not an issue. At the same time the main attractions and shopping are within 10 minutes walking distance. All staff were very friendly.

Review 9：The WiFi is almost non- existent. The server is very very slow and for a solo traveler like me, being online when I'm in the hotel is very important so that's the only negative thing I have to say with this place.

Review 10：I did have a hard time looking for the hotel but part of my adventure is looking for my hotel or hostel. When I finally got to see the place, I liked it a lot, its clean and a bit far away from the city center and its quiet. I would not mind coming back there again if I find myself in Bad Ischl.

Review 11：We checked out 24 hours earlier than we had booked because the room was absolutely freezing and the beds uncomfortable. The hotel didn't put the heating on and it was difficult to sleep in the cold. So, we had to pay for the extra night even though we couldn't stay there. It was 10 degrees all day and they wouldn't put on the heating. Also, eye-watering smoke smells made it impossible to eat at their restaurant. The smell wafted through the hotel. Also, the halls and steps were gloomy because badly lit on a timer. This hotel is obviously trying to save money at the expense of customers. AVOID.

Review 13：Loose tap, dangling electrics, smell in corridors. Unable to access Internet wifi, my first failure in hotels who have it. Would have liked more personal attention to make me feel at home.

Review 15：I have no serious complaints about the hotel; the floor plan is a little confusing, but one gets used to that. The immediate neighborhood is less than attractive, but one block away, you are in the middle of Bad Ischl.

Review 16：The hotel is a three minute walk from the Congress Hall where the Lehar festival is played. The 150 bus between Salzburg and Hallstatt is across the street. The room was large by European standards and quite comfortable. The bar is open late, and the restaurant looks charming, although I didn't eat there and can't comment on the food.

Review 35：Not good for kids, due to smoking policy. Smoking is allowed in the public premises - in the bar/restaurant area and automatically you do not want to be there with kids. EU has generally banned smoking in public premises, but somehow in Austria they do not care about it.

Review 36：I liked the old style architecture of the hotel. Fair value for money for *** hotel. Quite creatively designed sauna. Good quality breakfast. Fairly clean hotel with relatively big room.

Review 37：The whole hotel smelt of cigarette smoke even in the non-smoking areas. Also, (I'm guessing to save costs in the off-peak season) the hotel turns off lights which can be activated by pressing buttons on the walls. One of these was found only at the end of a descending staircase, which means groping in the dark down the stairs until the button is in reach. Makes the hotel gloomy and depressing.

Review 38：Smoking in the bar made the hotel smell of stale smoke. Austria does not have a smoking ban so this is common however.
