Review 1：No lift, reception on first floor, many stairs to the rooms, traffic noise. Even though we stated we were bringing our dog the owner said they didn't accept dogs of that size in the hotel so where did we expect to sleep him - in the car?? Car park at the back of the hotel was awkward to negotiate and did not belong to the hotel. Eventually the owner relented and gave us a room at the front of the hotel but said 'his wife would kill him'!

Review 3：Nearby bars/facilities noisy in hot weather because windows open ( no air conditioning ). Our room no fridge, no safe. Reception not always staffed.

Review 5：Made the effort to arrive before the 21.00 last check in time. Arrived at 20.50 to find everyone had gone home. Not a major problem, I called to get the door code.

Review 8：Some strange walks of life or "wildlife" can be seen in the area at all hours of the day. My room was by the stairs, so I could here everyone coming or going on the old creaky stairs.

Review 9：The atmosphere is very personable and homey. The breakfast is lovely, the room was nice, clean, and smelled oh so good everythime I entered. The staff were very nice and even knew my name without introduction. I felt more like I was staying at a friends house than a hotel. I liked it so much, I extended my day another day.

Review 21：The fact that the Reception was not staffed when we arrived at 19:00 hours and we had to work an intercom system in order to obtain our keys using two sets of Passwords. Not very customer friendly after a long day driving

Review 23：This quaint hotel was a real gem. The charming and dapper "inn" keeper, Richard, was superb. He anticipated our every need. Charming, beautiful decor, subtle little touches made the place perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and will look for an opportunity to stay there again.

Review 24：No elevators, being on 5th floor with wood spiral staircase, haulingluggage, not handicapped accessible, no warm food at breakfast, wifi wasnot reliable, asked for a 'steakhouse' and front desk sent us toa place with no steak on menu.
