Review 1：at the reception desk some of the employees were not friendly in answering simple questions. It felt like they were being bothered.

Review 7：The staff are quite unfriendly, seems like rooms have not been renovated for 15-20 years/ Germans think a lot of themselves judging others, but this hotel would not be up to their standard in other countries and they would definitely make a point about this? however, in Germany they seem to be prepared to tolerate this and are ready to pay a lot/. I was disappointed by the quality of the service and rooms.
Review 8：The location is fantastic, it is one of three hotels in Timmendorfer Strand that are situated directly on the beach. The heated pool is a nice place and very useful for enjoying a visit to the Baltic Sea/

Review 10：The location is absolutely magnificent and so are the outdoor pool, indoor pool, access to the beach. Worth the money to take a room with seaside view and I would book it again.
Review 11：There was no air conditioning in the hotel room. The room was not facing the see so there was no breeze into the room. The room door showed where a crow bar had been used to access the room but was not repaired. The room walls and carpet were marked up and stained. We complained but the hotel staff did nothing! We were not even offered a fan for our room to help get air movement. (The temperature was 32 c even in the evening.) We finally checked out early Saturday morning as we were not able to suffer through this. The room was at a premium and no discount was offered due to the problems. We were charged 290 euro for a hotel that is no better than 2 stars! We also had similar issues with Maritim at Hannover. We feel that Maritim is blleding their hotels out for profits at the expense of their customers. I will now try to avoid this brand unless there is no other option in the future.
