Review 1：There was a problem with the water on the second night and day which was a bit inconvenient.
Review 2：Great location, lovely room with balcony and fabulous view. Brilliant restaurant.
Review 3：Would we go back to Apartamentos Es Calo? Emphatically yes. Would we recommend them to friends? Yes, but with warnings. This is Formentera, and you need to go with eyes open. When we first went to the island In 1967, there was no electricity, no telephone, no running water and only four cars on the whole island. Now there is free WiFi everywhere. So it has gone from the late 19th century to the 21st century in 48 years, and the transition isn't always complete. The plug in our bathroom sink didn't work, and the bathroom light was having a nervous breakdown. There was no electric kettle until we asked for it. The cooking facilities consisted of a two-ring ceramic hob, and a microwave. If you go expecting immaculate luxury, you will be disappointed. But if you go expecting things to be okay and to work reasonably well, even if you have to compromise a bit, then you'll love it. We did.
Review 4：Es Calo is now about the nicest place on Formentera ... not over-developed, but with outstanding restaurants (the best one next door to the apartments, with a terrific cocktail bar) and okay swimming within an easy walk. The apartments are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and efficient. There are good supermarkets within an easy walk, so self-catering is no problem. A really great place if you're ready for Formentera ...
Review 5：disappointed by studio, right by services who were noisy from 9am although pool unavailable till 11am! fridge very noisy - unfilled promise to replace (smelly old chopping board was replaced on request), hall smelt of fish, garlic etc from restaurant, not great - booking system very unsatisfactory, overpriced.

Review 14：Bed: Amazing king size bed for a proper relax. Perfect if you go with your baby/kid sleeping with you. Location: Es Calo is one of the best corner, awesome sea and views. Nice sandy beach close to the apartment (Tramuntana), walking distance. Nice restaurant and lounge room. Daily change of towels. Beach towels and sun umbrella provided for free. Helpful staff: the ladies printed out our return tickets and on our check out day they let us use an apartment for shower and get dressed. Very nice touch.
Review 15：No elevator. The only complaint in an otherwise perfect location. The staff did assist with luggage. Couldn't ask for more really.

Review 17：Es Caló is a very small place, so there isn't much to do, have to rent a scooter or bike or car if you wanna see something or go to the beaches. Of course, if you like heavy walking...that's a different thing. Just 2 shops nearby and 3 restaurants. The staff was friendly but the English could have been better. The cooking facilities need a bit improvement, e.g. coffee machine.

Restaurant store-room just over hedgebetween our very sunny balcony and the pool - staff were going back andforth and having a cigarette and chat there from 8.30 am on. Howeverthey tried not to look at us and we tried not to look at them. Workedpretty well. Strangely, they were very surprised we were staying 2weeks. Local cash machine out of order so had to go to a town for that.Many noisy Italians and Spanish zooming around on scooters. Noisy kidsslamming doors at 7 am. Quite an expensive island altogether. Atbooking, price shown in Euros and £sterling. I paid with £sterling butexchange rate had changed by the time hotel took payment (in Euros) sothey took more. Complaining to booking.com made no difference. If goingto a Euro country, pay in Euros if you can!
Review 36：Comfortable, clean apartment 50 yds from incredibly beautiful blue andgreen sea in little hamlet with lovely harbour. Pleasant staff. Beachshort stroll. Three restaurants very close, plenty more in walkingdistance. Little supermarkets, shops, bike hire next door (wedidn't hire a car) and interesting tracks to walk. Be naked orcovered on beach, your choice. A heavenly island, very quiet, apartmenta good base.

If we makecomplaint we hear that there is a problem with room managing and after 2night's manager proposed room with seaview but without anyrecompensation for 2 days. Reception is many times closed. Bad waterquality probably iron contaminated. At late night there is no hot water.Air conditionig is kept unclear in our room.

Review 44：The location is right next to the water, although it's not a beachfor swimming per se. Just a very picturesque rocky beach to sit and havea drink. Nice, comfortable room. It's a little bit far from the mainport and in the low season there weren't many stores open, but italso made it nice because we were in a quiet area and far away fromhustle and bustle.
