Review 1：Have visited hotel at Christmas for a few yrs now . Very relaxing and nice atmosphere . Lovely pool sauna breakfast. It was quiet this ur but suited me . Had family and friends to visit

Review 2：The minimal assistance from reception, at a large hotel chain! - no iron (bügeleisen) for the room, no method to allow use of the hotel bikes outside of very restricted prescribed hours, no maps of surrounding areas, just of timmendorfer strand - not even of Travemunde!! Lübeck? The rooms are terribly out of date - furniture cloth is worn, old and stained; the couch is broken; there are no power outlets for charging *modern* devises like mobile phones (without unplugging a lamp or the tv); the TV is ancient; the bed was very uncomfortable; and the twin singles did not work as a double bed without moving apart overnight. The entrance door frame is falling apart. I find the carpark cost excessive and punitive, considering the cost of the room. But it was convenient to use. A key card, an ausweis, a beach card and a carpark card. And not even a complimentary card holder for all these? Ancient technology, huh?

Review 3：Loved the breakfast buffet, with real scrambled eggs! Breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. (but the fresh vegetables were dry every day - did you leave them uncovered in the fridge overnight....?). A great selection to satisfy any changing need. The swimming pools indoors and out are great, although earlier opening hours on the outdoor bar would be good. The indoor bar area is good. Flexible checkout is a nice touch.

Review 8：Paid extra for a sea view room. Could see the water, but not the beach. The hotel should have these rooms at least on fifth floor. Not on third where they placed us.

Review 12：There is just one plug in the main room and none next to the beds! Iwasn't annoyed at all about the "70's look", but indeed back at the 70sthey didn't have cell phones or laptops. In 2012 we do! More plugs wouldbe advisable. Internet: Give me a brake! 4-Star hotel at 2012---15€/24h????? The night buffet (for 26€/person- excluding drinks) wastotally not worth the money. Most of the dishes where made out of frozeningredients (E.G. frozen fish!) and the presentation and taste was notreally worth more than 15€ (only given the fact that it was a buffet!).The staff though was excellent!

Review 13：I had some special requests before I went there and it was all arrangedby just calling them! When I arrived everything has been taken careof!!!! Comfortable room (in the comfort category). Spa facilities(except from massages) was included into the room price! Dogs: My Dogwas welcomed but only to the comfort category. I had booked a non-refundable Superior-Category room, but I had to be downgraded to comfortbecause of the dog. The rooms of comfort are on the first floor. Some ofthem do have sea view. Dog extra costs: 15€. Staff excellent: helpfuland willing. (Though somebody should tell them that "Turkisches Bad" isthe "Dampfbad"! When I asked for a hamam -türkisches Bad" they said thedon't have, which was not the case!)
