Review 6：They accommodated our late arrival by leaving a key for us in the lockbox and when we arrived, there was a nice note with a little snack. That was a pleasant and welcome surprise. The one bedroom apartment was nicely laid out with a separate room for the kids.

Review 7：Staff was very friendly. Location was beautiful, secluded and close to many nice things to visit. Restaurant was very good, albeit a little expensive. Room was comfortable.

Review 8：We were four motorcyclists visiting the Black Forest and stayed for four nights at Gasthof Blume. Our rooms and breakfast were very good. We parked our bikes in the hotels garage which also had basic tools for maintenance and cleaning, which we much appreciated. We enjoyed three tasty evening meals in the hotel restaurant and were very well looked after by the proprietors, they and their staff were most obliging and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The free WiFi required registration but once correctly done a good signal was available throughout the hotel. Gasthof Blume is in lovely quite location, being approximately 2.5 km up a valley from Oppenau, not surprisingly there is no mobile phone signal. We all agreed we would have no hesitation in returning to Gasthof Blume.

Review 11：As part of our honeymoon mini-tour of Europe, we spotted Gasthof Blume on Booking.com and booked a couple of night’s stay. We were warmly welcomed to the hotel upon arrival by Marco, who showed us to our spacious, clean and well-furnished room. We ended up enjoying three night’s stay at the hotel because we loved it so much – a beautiful location with a waterfall a short walk away, a well-stocked mini-bar and evenings spent on the balcony chilling. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice and evenings spent in the restaurant sampling the local delicacies – we highly recommend the spatzle, white asparagus, steak, trout and pork medallion dishes, not to mention the schnapps made on site. We really enjoyed our stay with Gasthof Blume; Marco and all the staff made us feel very welcome (even though we cannot speak German!) and we hope to return there again one day.

Review 13：We stopped for a night at Gastof Blume during a road trip of the Black Forest. The hotel is in a wonderful peaceful location near Oppenau. We ate a delicious meal in the restaurant and sampled the neighbours strawberries for pudding! The breakfast was also delicious, with local produce. A great stay.

Review 14：You had to register for a free wifi service, but there was 'no service' over the times we tried to register.

Review 15：We were only looking for an overnight stay in this area, but felt we had fallen on our feet with the lovely location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. We enjoyed beinf able to sit outside on the terrace.

Review 16：Arrived on our motorbike having ridden 200 miles in the pouring rain. We were immediately told to put our motorbike in the garage and our jackets boots gloves etc taken from us and dried overnight in the laundry room. And the food was fabulous.
