Review 1：The Hotel Sand aims for innovative modern design but this has been delivered at the price of comfort and useful information - instead of the decorative piece if driftwood I would have preferred a waste bin! Information such as room service menu and conditions and Wifi details should be provided as standard to save the guest a call or trip to reception. Also in a modern hotel of this class I would expect at least some free wifi usage these days.

Review 2：In easy reach of beach and town. Blissfully quiet during my stay. Windows could be opened fully which was a bonus during the hotter days.

Review 4：Rooms etc. very tasteful. Perfect location opposite side from the beach (you have to cross a very quiet street). Loved the little balcony at my room. Staff was very kind and helpful. Great breakfast.

Review 9：Nice and modern Hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Great Breakfast. Its directly at the beach and about 10-15 min from the inner city. We can highly recommend this familiar hotel.

Review 10：On our second evening,after a wonderful day in the town and down by the beach, we had a very disappointing meal and sadly this was the perfect example of the sublime to the ridiculous.This hotel has a hell of a lot going for it, however the range of our experiences on our two day visit at the Sand, did not add to the whole Timmendorf experience. The staircase up to the higher level in our maisonette room.

Review 11：First night's dinner was excellent, sublime, delicious, piping hot, efficiently served, a true example of a perfect gastronomic experience. Waiter was attentive and we were so impressed we booked for the following evening.

Review 12：there are things to improve: a lounge-terrace can easily be realized and would be a big pro. the restaurant serves very classical dishes. that should be more in line with the total look and feel of the hotel which is very stylish, modern and highest quality

Review 13：very very good beds (coconut). never slept so well in a hotel. the staff is very friendly. the music in the restaurant-area is really fabulous!

Review 14：The reception is locked at 10.30pm and reopens at 7am, so you can only get back to your room via a side door with a complicated lock. Unfortunately the side door does not open easily and we were locked out of the hotel until 7am,after an early morning walk. At breakfast the milk was bad, it was smelly and turned into curdled clumps when poured into coffee - I tried four different jugs to try and find good milk. The staff did try and fix it, and apologized, but having curdled milk at breakfast was unacceptable.

Review 18：Very convenient hotel for the beach and promenade walking to the lively town centre.The suite was of excellent quality and the veranda a very pleasant surprise .The menues changed each day and the food was well prepared.The staff were polite and friendly,giving good service. Car parking no problem and secure.
