Reviews for Ringhotel Lutherhotel Eisenacher Hof
Review 1:Given children's room & beds. Luther experience entertainment dominated the hotel, so if not involved then poor. We booked 2 nights & left after 1.
Review 2:Breakfast
Review 3:The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and the staff on duty had too much to do to check us in, so we had to wait about 15 minutes, but they did apologise and were very helpful.
Review 4:The location is great and the mediaeval restaurant is fantastic (not sure about the obligatory tub of lard...). Breakfast was superb.
Review 5:Not an issue to us in June - but no air conditioning.
Review 6:Rooms above the bar/restaurant were modern, clean and functional - very pleased. Some English spoken by the staff which was helpful! Restaurant has a Medieval theme and the staff were dressed to match. Great atmosphere. Large 'beer garden' to the front and secure parking for the motorbike. Fantastic choices for breakfast - superb. Easy stroll to the town centre. Couldn't ask for more.
Review 7:Room facing street over front door and terrace was pure noise till 2:30am. Not a good night sleep. Staff just doing a job and not really caring. Too busy at 5pm with checking people in for a room to help with dinner, so we went elsewhere after standing and waiting for 5 mins to be seated and being ignored. They asked how was my stay, I told them and they didn't care.
Review 8:Breakfast.
Review 9:Overpriced small room with modest furnishings - not 4star. Difficult to get past bed end as wall structure protruded. Dangerous low angled ceiling above toilet. Occasional smell of drains. Dinner menu in old German script & no drink menu.
Review 10:Bicycles stored undercover. Free wifi.
Review 11:Some kind of undefining smell in room, maybe from kitchen?
Review 12:Breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were very clean and fresh, the staff helpful, and the medieval restaurant downstairs was atmospheric and tasty!
Review 13:Poor parking facility
Review 14:Breakfast and walking distance of The Wartburg.
Review 15:Takes some time to get to Wartburg castle from the hotel.
Review 16:Everything was perfect. The hotel is very cozy and the staff is friendlyand helpful. Locations of the hotel is very convenient if you travelwithout a car. It's hard to express in words how tasty was thebreakfast, can only say that it was the best we tasted in Germany. Samecan be said about supper in hostel's restaurant. The latter is donein medieval style and is very atmospheric.
Review 17:If there is one thing I would change it would be the shower. It was small and having to step up to get into the shower and then step down to get out was a little scary
Review 18:The location was perfect for getting out any walking around the center of town and seeing the sights. The room was simple, but comfortable. The garden/terrace looks like it would be lovely in the spring and summer. It is a very lovely hotel.
Review 19:They were short-staffed when we were there (in the height of the tourist season) and though this should not deter anyone from staying there, just a little patience was necessary because of this.
Review 20:Superb location within easy walking distance of Luther house, Bach house and the Wartburg, and an immediate immersion in this delightful small German town. Good restaurant with pleasant old-German theme (including waitress dressed in mediaeval Tracht costume - not Mexican as stated on the booking.com website).
Review 21:very dated decor in hotel room hotel room only had mirror in bathroom - no mirror in main bedroom. a full length mirror or dressing table mirror would have been useful
Review 22:friendly staff we enjoyed the complimentary fruit
Review 23:My room was very small
Review 24:Restaurant excellent. Rooms in the separate building are very quiet.
Review 25:The "Lüther experience" was a little overdone
Review 26:The typical german "gut bürgerliche küchen" style.
Review 27:Best breakfast of the year (so far)
