Review 1：The room I had was dark but this can't be helped.

Review 2：The staff were fantastic- I arrived very late after reception had closed but after contacting reception beforehand, they came to let me in early hours of the morning. The location was great, close walking distance to the town & quiet. I had a balcony too which was great. All staff spoke some English which was great as I am not familiar with German.

Review 3：English is a little lacking.Sent my emails for other bookings to the hotel to print. They could not find my emails. Hard to get in and out of the shower.

Review 5：Hotel needs updating: cracked washbasin, smell of smoke in bedlinen, whole hotel. Bathroom smells musty. Blinds needed, better sound insulation, as much noise from roads and other guests. Food would be a huge selling point, if the range were extended, also with a children's menu.

Review 7：The hotel didn't match its description. There is no on site secure parking and there was no desk provided. No air conditioning in a family room meant the windows needed to be opened, making a night's sleep impossible (the Hotel is in a very noisy spot). The shower was overlooked from the building on the street opposite with no means of blocking the view. A family room: an extra bed added and the other furniture removed. Cleaning was cursory with former occupants items left in the room.

Review 8：Shower - it changed temperature very quickly. Access to the top floor wasn't easy to reach.

Review 17：Hotel is easy walking distance from centre of Paderborn. Some free overnight parking nearby or if not hotel had car park for €3.50 per day.

Review 18：We didn´t like carpets on the floor in the one of the rooms we rent. It´s smell like there have been smoked in the room short ago. and the carpet feels a little dirty too.

Review 73：Very nice place, although the rooms could do with a bit of a make over. Which is being considered, I was told, but all change comes slowly. I fully understand. Great staff, super atmosphere, splendid breakfast, I loved it. Very nice restaurant, by the way. Konstantinos Iakovidis, second generation Greek proprietor, serves good food (or his chef does) and attaches great value to environmental and animal welfare issues. Good! Commendable!

Review 75：* Got an upgrade to a fantastic room. The room was nothing like the bad smelling carpets or flies in the common areas * Great location. I found places to eat till about 22h30, which is great since I worked till late. The main station and the bus terminus are very close by.
