Review 1：Noise between others bathrooms and our bedroom carried too easily. We were awoken earlier than we would have wished as others washed etc!

Review 4：If you like pretentious, amateur run boutique hotels, fine, I don't. It was nearly impossible to find - the only hotel in the town not signposted by the local authority. Even the locals said it was "complicated" to find and couldn't help us! Typical for amateurs - the website hides this vital factor and doesn't pay for some signs. Too much money spent on cushions - too little on common sense.
Review 5：A very pleasant Welshman who seemed to know what he was doing served at breakfast. We ate dinner at a nearby Argentinian steak house which was good fun and served very good food.

Review 8：Great location in the centre of Paderborn but set on a nice little park so calm and quite. Was worried about the wifi from other reviews but it worked well for me so it seems they have fixed the issues. Also took advantage of free secure parking for my motorcycle, staff were very helpful with this.

Review 11：Being offered free secure garage parking for my motorbike, the friendlieness of the english speaking staff, quality of the food and level of facilities in the room. A bonus was being just round the corner from an Irish pub and I would have no hesitation in using the Galerie again if I am ever touring in that part of Germany.
Review 12：I took a little off the facilities mark because it doesn't have a lift but it's totally understandable given the age of the building. I'm just flagging it up in case anyone has mobility issues or has a very heavy suitcase.
Review 13：Loved the hotel. Excellent location, good shower, well maintained room. Would love to have sample the restaurant's dinner or high tea but ran out of meals. The ice cream cafe in the main square is also highly recommended.
Review 14：Parking difficult if you have a large car and although location was good,there were a lot of drug addicts and alcoholics in the park in front of the hotel,which was not very pleasant.

Review 27：Amazing Staff, Rooms and Service. The great welcome and service I received here was outstanding. Obviously a great place to work as everyone was on tip form. The rooms were clean and welcoming. I have stayed in quite a few places over the years and will look forward to returning here.

Review 64：Fabulous!? 8.8!? Have I been to the same Galerie Hotel? It is surprisingthat this establishment can be referred to as "an hotel". Ithas the appearance of a tea shop which has been altered into a propertyoffering sleeping accomodation. Upon entering via a small lobby porchthere is a food display cabinet facing you no more than 80 centimetresfrom the porch. People pass across/along this passage area to andfrom dining tables to left and right. Immediately behind the fooddisplay cabinet there is an open doorway revealing the kitchen area. Tothe right adjoining the food display cabinet is a small Receptiondesk/counter. Guests standing at this counter cause an obstructionto anyone wishing to pass as there is a dining table squeezed into thearea. A narrow staircase leads from the reception area up to the firstfloor which comprises a "gallery" of dining tables. There isalso a small galley kitchen but it is not clear whether food is actuallycooked there. We only observed food being brought up the stairs from thekitchen on the ground floor. We did not eat at the establishment forreasons which will become clear if you will read on. Access to bedroomsis off the gallery and then up two more flights of stairs. There is nolift! We had been allocated room 24. So far as we can tell no picture ofthis room appears on the Booking.com site. It is not surprising as it isnot spacious and does not look anything like any rooms displayed on thesite. There is hardly enough space to swing even a small kitten. Theroom overlooks the back yard. It did not appear to have had a coat ofpaint for quite some time. The small "bathroom" has a shower,sink and wc. No bath and no complimentary toiletries. Later wediscovered there was no hot water. You need to be aware that car parkingis a problem.
Review 65：We had a reservation for four nights but only stayed for one. Only onestaff member made any attempt to make us feel welcome. Another matter toour liking was the superb attention offered to us by Booking.com infinding alternative accomodation for us very early in the morning afterthe first night at this establishment. The only other matter to ourliking was being able to get out of the place.

Check-in was fine but there is no space for organising luggage if you return to collect it after check-out. I also had a problem pre-ordering a taxi, as it did not show, making my journey to the station rather stressful - so many thanks to the kind people who took me there!
