Reviews for Im-Jaich Hotel Bremerhaven

Review 1:The floor in the room was a bit dusty.

Review 2:The breakfast was a buffet and very good. They even provided me with gluten free bread. I didn't expect that level of service. The rooms were very comfy and shower amazing! Excellant views over the harbour. Ideal location to the museums and high street.

Review 3:Excellent location, right on the harbor! Lots of good restaurants and attractions near by. Breakfast included was wonderful - good food! The whole experience was a 10!

Review 4:Staff neglected to inform me of a message which had been left by a relative arranging to meet up.This caused quite a problem in our arrangements as we had drove from england to germany to meet up. x

Review 5:Excellent location with good views

Review 6:Rooms are smallish. Reception desk closes at 21:00.

Review 7:Excellent location, very close to all the place has to offer. Rooms looking out over the yachting harbour on one side of the hotel.

Review 8:Size of room a bit small for two adults. Space to hook up closes limited, especially in autum and fall period. During the hot season no air condition available.

Review 9:Location directly at harbour; quiet; hospitality .also suitable for wheelchair and or slightly handicapped . Close to restaurant and shopping

Review 10:Too early closing for check in. No restaurant, but a restaurant very nearby. Difficult to find.

Review 11:Friendly Good location Good breakfast Flexible early breakfast time. Free good map.

Review 12:No room service when required.

Review 13:A lovely place with great staff who will try their best to help. The view in the morning of all the boats and sunrise was worth every penny spent on it. Breakfast was very tasty and your located very close to all local facilities.

Review 14:There is not enough road signs on the streets in vicinity of the hotel.

Review 15:After booking at Booking.com I've got the message from hotel with instruction how to drive to the hotel - very helpful.

Review 16:The location is perfect. Near marina bay and river. The view (including sunset) from the hotel is amazing. Great shops, restaurants and museums in walking distance. Breakfast was very good, free wifi for all devices you have, free parking, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Review 17:Our room was on the first floor over the parking lot. The curtains did not block out enough light from the parking lot. Also, being from North America and my wife not speaking German, it would be nice to have one English speaking T.V station. Frankfurt had one as well as Munich and Berlin,

Review 18:Almost everything.

Review 19:There were several construction sites around (August 2014). Therefore there was annoying noise every morning. Hotel is equipped neither with air-conditioning nor with any sun protection. During hot days it is impossible to keep acceptable temperature in the rooms.

Review 20:Location is both advantage and disadvantage. Directly in the port. Close to several tourist attractions (ZOO, the highest hotel with view platform, some museums, landing stage for ferry line to Helgoland).

Review 21:The staff always smiling and very friendly

Review 22:The interieur is very homely, the view on the port turns the stay into a holiday even when I was there for business.

Review 23:No problems.

Review 24:One of the best hotels ever. The location is perfect for tourists in Bremerhaven. Wonderful restaurant.

Review 25:Good hotel in a great location.

Review 26:There is no cabinet in the room.

Review 27:View to the river and quiet environment

Review 28:Position of Hotel ... Easy to find. The views from the windows/ balcony. On site restaurant for an evening meal was good value.

Review 29:Mini fridge in the room would be better

Review 30:I quite enjoy the rooms, service and position. I was on a business trip. No chance to enjoy the town. Other than that, positive feedback.

Review 31:all was fine here. suggested

Review 32:The room was wonderful, so clean and comfortable. Outstanding breakfast. Helpful staff. I loved it all.

Review 33:The fact that there is no staff after 21:00 was a bit alien to me.

Review 34:My over all impression is very positive.

Review 35:Very clean

Review 36:location in new port close to attractions and ferry to Helgoland Friendly staff Everything is new, clean.

Review 37:Nothing

Review 38:Super Young team, extremely friendly, great location, very good value

Review 39:The wooden floors.

Review 40:The lack of a 24 hour reception was a little unnerving but turned out not to matter during my stay. Really should get the Google map position correct - it is badly wrong.

Review 41:Very good position close to the museums etc. I had a corner room overlooking the marina in the wet dock and also down the estuary. Spacious light rooms, great bed, everything fresh, clean and new feeling.

Review 42:Parking was a bit of an issue primarily because we were not informed upon arrival where to park outside of the hotel grounds (room for about 16 vehicles inside the grounds). Car parking fines have been issued! (The hotel actually has plenty of allocated spaces outside - just ask which ones the are).

Review 43:Perfect location for the centre of Bremerhaven. Superb breakfast would suit all tastes. Very comfortable.

Review 44:The hotel was not so easy to find as it is between the canal and the see and not clearly indicated...the sat nav wanted me to swim over ;)

Review 45:Close to the beach, the Zoo, the Clima House, and the industrial Harbour. It was just perfectly situated to enjoy visiting bremerhaven. The breakfest was very good with different options that can satisfy any taste.

Review 46:We liked everything. The location was perfect as was our room and view of the marina and the river. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Review 47:The hotel did not have a 24 hour reception which I think is something they should seriously consider. To enter hotel after 9pm at night you need to use your electronic keycard on the card reader outside the hotel entrance - what if it doesnt work? When you do get inside after 9pm a large wall has been erected in front of the lounge/reception area to block this off and there is a small sign with an emergency telephone number. This is of no use if you were stuck outside the hotel as you couldnt see it from outside, and also if you dont have a mobile phone. I think a hotel of this quality and in this fairly remote location should have a member of staff there at all times. This is the only negative point on what is otherwise a great hotel.

Review 48:This hotel was in a lovely location right on the harbour in Bremerhaven. It was a bit of a distance from the main train station but worth it. Buffet breakfast included in the price was very nice. Good wifi connection. Excellent bathroom with lovely shower. Hotel was within walking distance of all the main attractions like the harbour, U-boat museum, zoo, shopping area. Would definitely recommend hotel and would stay again.

Review 49:My husband wondered about a location "on the docks" but this hotel is really on the restored docks within walking distance of the great museums in Bremerhaven. At night we could see the dry docks a few blocks away with workers renewing a ship - yet the hotel was quiet and relaxing.

Review 50:No air-conditioning.

Review 51:The room is modern, yet very cosy. The use of light wood and the big window make the room airy. The shower in the bathroom is very good and the bath products are of good quality. Friendly and welcoming staff. The wi-fi worked very well.

Review 52:Missed a cooler / minibar in the room. Asking for room numbers at breakfast could be a bit more discreet, e.g. while pouring coffee, instead of shouting over the counter.

Review 53:Evening staff most delightful, Panorama view over the inner harbour and down the Weser river. Delicious breakfast.

Review 54:Standard European beds. Us Americans are spoiled with pillow tops. Those are hard to come by here.

Review 55:Great Hotel. One of the cleanest I ever stayed in. Awesome location. Perfect grassy area for our pet.

Review 56:Breakfast scrambled eggs were cold the first day.

Review 57:Nice hotel close to one of the dikes. Were the weather better, I could have watched boats on the Weser. Close enough to the city center to walk. Design of rooms--wooden floors, huge windows--was very positive

Review 58:After 8 pm everything closes down including the reception and there is no possibility of getting even a bottle of water. I think the hotel must have a vending machine in the lobby area. Also it will help a lot old and sick people if the hotel offers some fruit free of cost in the rooms. e.g. a banana and an orange or an apple.

Review 59:New construction. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Reasonably good breakfast. The Location is perfect !

Review 60:the road to the hotel was not well marked

Review 61:the convenience of being downtown close the the pier

Review 62:Very late breakfast time on weekends.

Review 63:Quite good variety for breakfast. Staff friendly. Very good location. Quite spacious room.

Review 64:very good wifi connection very good breakfast

Review 65:close to the cruiseterminal

Review 66:This hotel was fantastic value for money! In a beautiful location near the water with nice, modern facilities and helpful staff

Review 67:everything

Review 68:Not even one English language tv channel out of dozens.

Review 69:Good location, good clean modern rooms with all necessities.

Review 70:Everything

Review 71:Great location near the Auswanderer Haus and harbor. Delicious breakfast and free WiFi included. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
