Reviews for Kloster St. Josef
Review 1:Could not find the apartment number 217. This apartment is located in another building in the 100 meters.
Review 2:Good location when traveling from Russia to Europe.
Review 3:As the name says, it is a guestroom in a convent. No luxery, no facilities.
Review 4:But if you are looking for a clean, quite room for an honest price, even during a busy trade show in Nurnberg, this is a good place. Restaurant in walking distance,
Review 5:I could not identify the allergenic components, food additives in the breakfast offer.
Review 6:Cleanliness, quiet and beautiful environment, relatively close to the highway, friendly and helpful staff, delicious dinner.
Review 7:Nothing
Review 8:The Kloster serves as both a convent for retired Nuns and a Hotel. The rooms are separate from the main building and are furnished to a high standard with free wifi. There is a restaurant serving local food at very reasonable prices together with a selection of local beers and wine. The breakfast buffet is also good. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the area which is close to Ingoldstadt, Regensburg and Nurnburg.
Review 9:When we arrived - there wsa no booking made although I received theconfirmation from Booking.com! It was very unpleasant!

Review 11:As always, the perfect place to stay for the weary traveller, just off the main highway. Lovely quiet surroundings but close to lovely town centre just a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast is nice and early with a great choice to set you up for the day.
Review 12:There were problems with pictures of rooms on Booking site. I visited this hotel last year and I picked up room this time according by pictures which was offered. Suddenly it happens that rooms are little smaller and in different buildings and, according to stuff, it was mistake by Booking.com
Review 13:Peacefull environment, cleanliness and comfort. Breakfast
Review 14:When a late arrival (after 21:00 hours) you arrive in the dark and you will have to find your key. Permanent occupation of the reception would be preferrable
Review 15:A beautiful and authentic location
Review 16:It is not a matter of disliking anything as all was fine but I would have enjoyed having a more comfortable outside space, patio, courtyard, etc. to enjoy with my friends or to sit and read.
Review 17:The guesthouse is on a sisters' convent property. A bit nostalgic as I enjoyed watching the sisters work in the garden. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Breakfast was good and plentiful. 24/7 coffee a blessing.
Review 18:Room is very basic.

Review 27:The sheer peacefulness of the location was just what I needed after a long and tiring day. Sitting in the garden whilst the sun went down, priceless.
Review 28:Room was very clean and comfortable. Still.....the bathroom wastebasket was not emptied after the previous guest and found a couple of hairpins on the desk in room. Makes you wonder.

Review 30:could not fault this accommodation
Review 31:When we arrived at the Kloster we were so delighted with the very clean and comfortable rooms, all set up with everything a traveler might need. From their own bottled mineral water to the book of information about the property, there was so much attention to detail and care given to the quality of the rooms. The rooms were spotless, the wooden bed and mattress, bed linen - all good quality and very comfortable. A very nice bathroom with complimentary toiletries. In the morning we were delighted with the sumptuous breakfast buffet and delicious healthy breads and cereals. The nuns we met were all so friendly and helpful too, it was a privilege to share some of their special and sacred world if only for one day.
Review 32:Everything was perfect.
Review 33:I'm very satisfied with all the facilities, the rooms are immaculately clean and fresh, breakfast is varied and tasty, a lovely quiet spot just outside of Neumarkt tho within a 10 minute walk to the lovely town centre.
Review 34:First room offered was not serviced. But quickly and easily changed.
Review 35:Very clean large room with good fittings. Very good breakfast. Nicely situated on edge of town with good facilities for evening meal on Saturdays. Good list of ATMs. Ideal stopover on a long journey.
Review 36:A location worthy of mentioning while on the road.
Review 37:I have arrived Kloster St, Josef after 22:00. The location was completely enveloped in darkness and the signal to enter the street was very little, reason for which I’ve missed it the first time, luckily that I had a flashlight in my car. Despite the austere air of the building, the conditions are surprisingly good. We’re found in the room two bottles of mineral water which were sealed at the monastery. There is a room from which you can purchase beer or wine, the payment is being delivered to a box from where you can collect your change. Excellent breakfast.
Review 38:Never stayed anywhere cleaner - fantastic quiet vibe as you'd expect - a bit out of town but well worth the trip in . There are loud bells at 6.30 to rouse the nuns - but our 15 month old is louder and earlier so no problem for us. All the nuns we met were fantastic with her - would defo stay here again

Review 70:We arrived a little bit late (7.00pm), and although we had pre-arranged for our keys to be left in the safe, we were not able to open it. The Nun on duty didn't speak any English, and our German isn't so hot, so negotiating our keys was a bit tricky! However, it was all worth it in the end.
