Reviews for Biohotel Amadeus

Review 1:the room is ok but needs a little bit more renovation/ aesthetics.

Review 2:excellent bio=breakfast, very god lokation in the centre and helpfull staff. The hotel is located close the railway station but it wasnt disturbing. Free parking

Review 3:internet and wifi did not work most of the time nobody at the reception hotel was hidden behind scaffolds breakfast is in the "wintergarden" which is a conservatory without plants viewing on the parking worst of all: railtracks just five meters from your bedroom with cargo trains day and night, boom boom...

Review 4:hotel is close to the historical centre

Review 5:Noisy. There was a railroad track right outside the window with traffic until midnight. Workers on scaffolding and in the next room started at 8 am sharp. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied.

Review 6:Only downside was the bit noisy plumbing, especially in the evenings. This should be fixed.

Review 7:Nice small hotel with friendly staff and owner in good location. Great eco-type of breakfast.

Review 8:It was bit noisy due to the trains (railway is very near to the hotel. Almost all the time there was no one at the reception. There is no toilet in the hotel - except the ones in the rooms' bathroom. After checking out there is no chance to use a toilet in the hotel.

Review 9:Location is really good - near to the city center. The rooms were nice and clean. Very good breakfast - but a bit expensive.

Review 10:The owners were incredibly friendly - we had a great stay at the hotel, perfect location to walk around, see the centre of town and visit the incredible castle! 5 stars, hope we can manage to head back there soon.

Review 11:Railway is near, but was not a problem for us or our child. Oldfashioned rooms, clean as it possibly can be, but maybe bathroom could use a little freshen-up renovation.

Review 12:Central location, very close to everything. Very quiet hotel with pleasant & helpfull staff. Clean. Simple & good for the money. Carpet all-over the room, important when the baby is crawling.

Review 13:to leave

Review 14:My expierence staying in the Biohotel Amadeus was excellent. The location of the Hotel is so central that I walked to many sight seeing points. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I would recommand anybody staying at the Amadeus to include the breakfast wich offers many healthy choices and the service is excellent.

Review 15:Difficult parking. Rooms were very very small.

Review 16:Location and owner!

Review 17:The train line is right outside the window. Sometimes the room shakes!

Review 18:Very clean, friendly staff

Review 19:Parking very difficult unless you have very small car.

Review 20:Right next to the train station, no English speaking staff

Review 21:Very good price, room facilities quite adequate and included a minibar.

Review 22:The internet was very "iffy". We, constantly had to get help to reestablish a connection. There are no services available from the staff. In 5 days; we saw only the owner, at breakfast. We felt the price was high for what was offered. The shower will soak the entire bathroom if extreme care is not exercised.

Review 23:The location is fine for the bahnhof and for sightseeing in the city. The room was small but, very clean. The breakfast offering was modest but, the owner, Raymond, cooked eggs to order and answered questions but, reluctantly, it seemed. The city is charming and interesting. The breakfast room is light and bright, a nice setting to start the day.

Review 24:A few minutes walk from the town centre, with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Our room was a good size and though the railway runs by the end of the hotel, the noise was not a problem.

Review 25:The noise from passing trains (notably goods trains) could be intrusive but I'm a heavy sleeper and the owners provide earplugs just in case! I would have liked a small safe/strongbox in the room but this was not a major issue. The shower door was not a good fit.

Review 26:I was made to feel very welcome. The room I had was spacious and comfortable and there was a minibar, always handy. There was free wifi and my VPN worked, not always the case in hotels, I've found! Both town centre and railway station are just ten minutes away on foot. The town itself is well worth a visit and the trams are great, with a stop practically outside the hotel.

Review 27:Right on the train tracks! I thought we'd never be able to sleep, but we got used to it quickly. The windows are pretty sound proof. We found free earplugs in the room!

Review 28:Good location Free wifi Free parking Good size room

Review 29:We enjoyed our visit to Schwerin very much. It is a beautiful, quietlittle town that is not yet overrun by tourists. Enough people speakEnglish that we were able to get around without really knowing anyGerman. We had a lovely room. The location was excellent for seeing thetown. The proprietor was friendly. The breakfast was very good, notinexpensive, but about the same as we paid in other places, and lessthan some. The train is right on the train track, but with the windowsclosed the sound is not really a problem

Review 30:Some people might object the the size of the rooms and the occasional passing train but those things didn't bother us.

Review 31:It was well situated for anyone travelling by train since it was less than 10 minutes walk from the station. The breakfast were healthy, well prepared and eated in an attractive sunroom.

Review 32:expensive breakfast (should be included), no nigtstandtables, bad doors in showercabin, bad ceiling-lightning, narrow, perceived not that completely eco-friendly hotel (water mixer provides basically just warm water, old bulbs, no recycle, disposables like earplugs, shower gel etc., non-low-flush toilet), ugly and unmodern interior, noise sensitive between rooms and the courtyard, pretty difficult to find (not well marked), train sounds much when passing, very warm bedding, easily becomes hot in the room ( no ac/fan), can seem crowded at the shower and toilet

Review 33:comfortable beds, good readinglights, good pressure in shower, minifridge, flatscreentv with many channels (mostly german), good key, good curtains for shade in room, many openable windows, free wi-fi, many sockits, close to citycenter and trainstation, nice staff

Review 34:The hotel is very close to a railway...

Review 35:Their breakfast is costly but in fact very good with a delicieus coffee from freshly grinded coffee beans. The staff is very friendly and with a lot of humour.

Review 36:next to main rail line

Review 37:comfortable,helpful and friendly

Review 38:Parking was tight but manageable.

Review 39:Charming small hotel. Very helpful staff.

Review 40:Absolutely nothing.

Review 41:Breakfast and attention to detail. Staff all excellent, couldn't do enough.

Review 42:location, furnishing, food all exceptional, also had parking, even with street construction and closed roads it was great to stay at that hotel.

Review 43:The host was very friendly and talketive . The city was very close witht a nice bustour.

Review 44:It was loud because of the very close train track. Summarizing not asgood as other hotels in Schwerin.

Review 45:Schwerin is a very beautiful city.

Review 46:Breakfast was expensive Very close to railway: lot of noise from trains

Review 47:Friendliness of staff Free internet Walking distance from historic center
