Review 5：Very poor greeting. When we arrived at hotel it was locked up (5.30pm). I spoke on the intercom to a man who kept us waiting at the door for 7 minutes before opening it. He then gave us a key but knew nothing about the hotel as he was 'standing in' for the owner who was away. The general state of the hotel was poor, in need of refurbishment. We had friends in the village and decided to stay with them instead. Despite the fact that we had left the room untouched,and used no facilities, we were charged a cancellation fee of 80% of the rate (64 euros). This is far more than the vast majority of hotels on Booking.Com and in our particular case...extortionate. There were still available rooms in the hotel so we were not preventing any other lettings. Our advice...Be very certain you really want service like this.
