Reviews for Tokoriki Island Resort

Review 1:Would like a tv in the room...but I do see why they don't have it...would be nice to have the choice

Review 2:Tranquil, beautiful gardens with all burees right on the beachfront. Small and boutique but still big enough to have a good choice of food, great mix of people from all over the place. Service is excellent, but the best thing for me was the bed...it was the most comfortable mattress of any hotel or resort I have ever stayed in. Cocktail were great as well....love it!

Review 3:If you don't provide TV in rooms then essential to provide internet - and not capped.. so guests can watch online movies in room when wanting to be away from other guests (as is expected at even the cheapest resorts)

Review 4:Staff were amazing. Music was incredible.

Review 5:Meal package seemed excessive and didn't provide value for money so we opted for a la carte instead. But all the food we had was amazing.

Review 6:Staff, food, setting and activities, especially the massages. Loved the intimacy it provided and the fact it's adults only.

Review 7:Staff were very nice & willing to help. Always had a smile on their face. View was exceptional. Very welcoming. Can't wait to visit again.

Review 8:The food was really tasty but definitely on the expensive side - particularly for breakfast if you just wanted something small, you needed to pay for the full continental buffet.

Review 9:The staff were especially amazing, the location and the facilities were all fantastic. A good range of activities were on offer - complimentary snorkeling trips to the home reef and around the island were particularly appreciated. It was the perfect place to relax with a book by the pool with a cocktail in hand.

Review 10:Having to leave- we could have stayed for much longer

Review 11:The staff were absolutely amazing. We stayed at the Sheraton first and all the small things that were missing there tokoriki resort got spot on. The sunset villa was better than we could ever imagine. It was peaceful and the gardens were beautifully lush. The outdoor showers were a real highlight. The food was delicious!!!

Review 12:Amazing staff who made you feel like you had come home. Super clean and all bures (that blended in with the natural habitat) looked out to the ocean. Gorgeous food. Just an amazing all round experience.

Review 13:Everything about this resort is summed up in one word: Excellent! the location, staff, facilities, decor, hospitality and...I could go on and on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It can be a little prices when you're there, but it is well worth it!

Review 14:Theres nothing I would critisize about the resort, but the onlysuggestion I would make would be for the bar staff to approach peoplelying by the pool more often to see if they are ok fordrinks/cocktails. We probably would have drank twice as many had webeen approached by staff :)

Review 15:The food and cocktails were absolutely incredible and the meal plan wasgreat value - definitely recommend getting it during your stay. Thestaff are phenomenal and really make you feel like part of the family byremembering your names etc. They allowed us to check out late (3pm) asour room was not booked the day we checked out, which was so lovely asit allowed us to make full use of the facilities on out last day. Freewifi in the main areas was fantastic - other resorts in the Mamanucasshould adopt this idea rather than charging for it!! Free use of watersport equipment such as kayaks, SUP's etc is fantastic and theyoffer free snorkel tours every morning. There is certainly plenty to doat Tokoriki Island Resort - we can't wait to go back!!

Review 16:Nothing!

Review 17:Everything!! - Amazing staff: the activities boys, the boy band, diving instructors, boat captain who took us on daily snorkelling trips, girls & boys in the restaurant, ladies in the spa, housekeeping staff... everyone makes us feel like home - Amazing house reef snorkelling / diving experiences: we saw sharks, stingray, sea turtle, thousands of fishes and beautiful corals throughout the daily snorkelling trips. - Too many good things to note in here, highly recommend this kids-free hotel if you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday

Review 18:Everything about the stay was perfect. From being picked by the Tokoriki Boat mid-channel welcomed by Penioni, Paulo and the Bandboys and girls to the food, facilities and overall ambiance. Faultless.

Review 19:The unexpected trade winds were unfortunate. It was also not so easy to access the reef from the Island and the winds played a factor in gaining access by boat to a snorkelling spot. Also, unlike a neighbouring island we'd stayed at, the snorkelling gear was not allocated to us for our stay i.e. you had to obtain it each time you wanted to use it.

Review 20:We liked our honeymoon beachfront bure very much. It was lovely to hear the waves lapping close by. We loved the gardens and all the ornamental ponds with waterlillies. We enjoyed the food, the general ambience amd the relaxed atmosphere and had fun playing chess by the pool.

Review 21:Too many helicopters arriving all day - made it like holidaying at a airport.. One morning we had helicopters and float planes arrive before 8am. Landings should be restricted to say between 10 and 12 then say 2 and 4.

Review 22:I thought the resort was beautiful , small personnel and ideal for the kind of break away that we were looking for. Great staff and reef snorkelling and water sports were great.

Review 23:We really had to splurge to stay here. This was the second place we stayed in Fiji. The first had more of a social/community feeling, which we REALLY loved. Tokoriki is a great place to go if you want some (mostly) one-on-one time with that someone special.

Review 24:The staff was absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. Myhusband and I really enjoyed joining their 5:30 P.M. volleyball games -super fun! We also took full advantage of all of the complimentarythings they had going on - paddle boarding, ocean kayaking, snorkeling, coconut demonstration, afternoon tea, etc. The views, (from our room, the dining area, and the loungers) were screen-saver worthy.

Review 25:Food program very pricy.no sandwich snacks avaible around the clock.fruit offer could be more extensive. No gym ( and it could easily be created on the extensive ground)

Review 26:Precious resort in a fabulous garden. Villas with pool fantastic and a jump to the beach.staff friendly and personnel.total relax possible.

Review 27:Wifi Food / kitchen - real bad Wine - very poor Slow service Running out of food and wine No gym Bugs No choice to eat elsewhere

Review 28:Location Bure/room/comfort Housekeeping Activities Tennis Pool Staff (in general0 Noa Weather

Review 29:Food was ok but not excellent for a high price point, probably the only thing they need to work on.

Review 30:The service, people, venue and overall ambience cannot be beaten. The best island resort experience we've had to date.

Review 31:Food slightly over priced as no other choices available...that's about it...

Review 32:Everything. Sunset pool villa was absolute heaven. Welcome and overall staff attitude and atmosphere was fantastic.

Review 33:The price per night is not cheap. The rooms aren't as nice as I'd thought for the price. We've stayed in nicer hotel rooms for a lot less. You are definitely paying for the amenities. The service is great but slow. I suggest getting your drinks from the bar and not a server or grab a drink on the way to your lunch/dinner table. We waited 30 minutes once for a drink at dinner… I know the Fiji time thing is supposed to be relaxed but service shouldn't be that slow.

Review 34:It's a small, boutique hotel with only 34 rooms and 1 other hotel on the whole island. You feel like you have the place to yourself. Most of the staff is warm and helpful. They greeted us with a song from the awesome band and took great care of us. The view from the pool is the most amazing view of paradise I've ever seen. They organize plenty of activities if you like to keep busy or you can keep to yourself and relax the whole time you're there. It's a great place for a honeymoon.

Review 35:Nothing

Review 36:The way acoustic and local music is incorporated into meals and events is unique and wonderful. Loved that the most along with the warm and friendly staff and incredible food.

Review 37:Impossible to complain.

Review 38:Everything. Incredible snorkelling just off the coast, fabulous rooms, tennis court, lovely spa, delicious meals and incredibly warm staff. Their poolside area is stunning as well.

Review 39:I don't think I can rave enough about this resort. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had come home to a big beautiful family who genuinely cared about our wellbeing and who made us feel like we were the most special couple on the island, without the exclusion of any other couple. Nothing was too much trouble. There was wonderful live music everyday that was unobtrusive, the resort was so tastefully designed and decorated with every luxury but without being stark and cold. The diving was spectacular with excellent dive masters. There was tennis and swimming and of course relaxing in a glorious setting. We will be back for sure!! Thank you to Tokoriki for a most wonderful holiday!!

Review 40:Quiet, friendly, good food and no children

Review 41:Location; room; Food; staff; music

Review 42:Beautiful small Island, privacy, comfort, friendly staff

Review 43:everything

Review 44:Absolute relaxation. Beautiful friendly staff

Review 45:The people make it - what an amazing place. Very relaxing. No wifi or TV's in rooms so you have no choice but to relax.

Review 46:Food good but not gourmet & overpriced. More night life eg Dancing!!

Review 47:Love decor, comfy accommodation.

Review 48:Privacy

Review 49:They don't allow children at the resort, so the peace and quiet is very enjoyable!

Review 50:Box base, ukuleles and singing welcome and farewell songs

Review 51:Outrageously expensive

Review 52:Idyllic setting and lovable staff

Review 53:Food can take a little while to arrive, but just enjoy being on Fiji time while you wait!

Review 54:Very friendly staff and locals Super comfy rooms

Review 55:That we didn't stay longer!

Review 56:Friendly 5 star service, breathtaking views, wonderful room and sensational outdoor shower and the infinity pool area.

Review 57:Wifi needs improvement.

Review 58:The staff are exceptional, so friendly and very helpful. The food was also excellent

Review 59:More choices for meals

Review 60:Weather Bure Beaches

Review 61:Everything, the people, the view, the food, did not want to come back home and we will visit again.

Review 62:Staff, setting

Review 63:The staff,pool,beach,food,setting activities,weather,everything except leaving!

Review 64:The price may cost a little high.

Review 65:I thought it would have been nice if there was a gym and also some longer walks around the Island.

Review 66:The wonderful staff and the excellent food. The resort was lovely.

Review 67:Very little to say here, was an incredible experience that we willtreasure forever. One very very small suggestion - my husband is not abig wine drinker so a couple of options for Japanese beers to accompanythe teppanyaki evening would have been great.

Review 68:Lovely staff, beautiful setting, delicious food with lots of variety, and many activities to enjoy - we went snorkelling and kayaking, butalso spent plenty of time relaxing. We also had our wedding here! Such awonderful ceremony, and a sincere thank you to the staff (specialmention to Niumaia, Alfie, Seru, and Mita!) for their hospitality, andthe band boys (Paolo especially) for their serenades.

Review 69:service was not good for the quite expensive rates, not enough selection for lunch/dinner, breakfast "buffet" was not really existent, no room service?, towels not changed, unfortunately too much sea grass that made the beach just appear "dirty" instead of a cristal clear water more out

Review 70:nature, scenery, temperatur, diving

Review 71:Nothing. It was perfect and we would return.

Review 72:Everything! Far exceeded our expectations. The best welcome we have had. Staff are extremely personable, genuine and kind. They make it their business to get to know your name and where you are from by day two. They are accommodating and make you feel like their family. The service is the best I have had- the duty managers meet you on the boat to the island and personally take you to your room. The lunch and dinner menus change daily and the food and cocktails are delicious. Every night the staff farewell guests by singing a song and there is a superb band that walks around every table at dinner time to sing to each couple. The resort employs locals and is involved in intiatives to improve local marine life. This place is truly one of a kind. Vinaka vakalevu Tokoriki!

Review 73:food and drinks are very expensive and you have no choice but to eat there and pay.

Review 74:unlimited spa package is a great value and services were good. the food was delicious. pool and setting were gorgeous.

Review 75:facilities & activities are limited, may develop some special activities with nearby islands

Review 76:peaceful & quiet area excellent for honeymoon small remote island great escape place

Review 77:Stayed for 6 nights after getting married on another resort nearby. Tokiriki was absolutely beautiful and a huge step up from where we git married. Great location, pool, service, spa, massages, snorkelling just to name a few. Totally enjoyed our time there and would go back again

Review 78:Food was very good, specially desert, but I would suggest a menu with more options, specially some light snacks.

Review 79:Wonderfull settings, a real paradise, the spa is very good, the staff are extremely kind, a special thanks to Rhamsey, Mela, Lavinia and others that made us feel so at home. I would stay there forever. Hope to come back.

Review 80:Our restroom seed to be a little bit outdated and “run down” compared to the rest of the bathroom and the bure as a whole. But that’s complaining on very a high level.

Review 81:Best vacations we have ever spent. Comfortable and clean bures, super friendly and attentive staff, nice beach, delicious food and it never feels crowded at all. This is the place to relax and to enjoy.

Review 82:The Staff were incredible The ocean views and recreational activities ,were all accessible and available always. Accomodation was Beautiful , absoloutly perfect

Review 83:Sadly from a snorkelling point of view, the coral reef was not as good as we expected but we were told this was due to the storm last year.

Review 84:We loved the food and opportunity to relax without the focus of small children. Private pool when required along with sandy beach. A really good bed and bure. Although I didn't catch anything this trip I was impressed with your sport fishing team. My wife really enjoyed the spa's.

Review 85:Lunch and dinner are expensive for us. We spent FJ$1000 for 2 days lunch and dinner.

Review 86:Everything is excellent especially the passionate of their staffs. Willing to come back again.

Review 87:food is not various and the taste need to be improve

Review 88:good environment on both island and resort, nice staff, perfect facilities and kindly service. perfect for snorkeling.

Review 89:The food was at best very average and also expensive.

Review 90:The staff were welcoming and friendly. The island is well taken care ofand the Bures extremely comfortable

Review 91:Food and beverages were expensive and below the standae you'd expect for a luxury resort. Bure not fully serviced everyday. No complimentary items you'd expect in a luxury resort such as moisturiser, bottle of water etc. Low quality snorkelling gear.

Review 92:Peace and traquility. Design of the bures and landscaped tropical gardens. Positioning of the bures next to the beach. Eco friendly and natural feel. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Review 93:Most beach activities are included. You can use equipment when it suits you.

Review 94:The Fijian people are so welcoming!! They treat you very good, like no other place..

Review 95:food
