Review 1：The standard is just average so if you're going to stay for a while I might not recommend this motel.
Review 2：The location is great if you like us is going to take the ferry early in the morning. The quality is typical motel but good for the purpose :)

Review 5：friendly accomodation, nice breakfast. We booked a family room: 2 separate rooms with 1 private bathroom situated on the hallway between the two rooms. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. Motel has the feel of a friendly upgraded hostel. Good location and good place to stay if you need to take a ferry to Norway (less than 5 min.). Childfriendly. Lots of space to play. Surrounding not really attractive and few opportunities for dinner. Would recommend as pass through hotel.
Review 6：The bathroom was not good-for disabled so bigger than usual, but had mould between tiles and the toilet wobbled. The room was cheerful but the thin white curtains let in ALL the light.

Review 11：We had two rooms, one was for a disabled person in a wheelchair and it was fine for a wheelchair. The location was good as we had to take a ferry so it was close. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was OK.

Review 13：We arrived off the Kristiansand ferry and were surprised at how close the hotel was to the harbour, we were there within minutes! On the way we passed the Oceanarium, which we stopped in at before we left the next day. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the staff were very helpful in providing information for our onward journey. Loved the mermaid fountain and statues in the courtyard. The privacy curtain in front of the shared bathroom was great too.

Review 16：Midday closure of reception was a major irritant. The proprietor did not attend to waiting guests, even though she was on site and it was obvious that arrivals were waiting. I consider this a failure of service. Location not good for the non-motorist (far from town centre), though I suppose it is a motel!

For more than one night, you should surely seek somewhere else to eat or book room only.. Candidly, too basic for the price. However, that great location for the ferry no doubt enables them to feel that they can inflate their prices. In case you missed the point - very basic.
