Review 3：A fine, comfortable, friendly hotel in Paderborn, a small city new to me. The hotel sits by a park with strolling paths into the center. A variety of restaurants are nearby and in the center. The hotel truly is like staying in the home of a friend.
Review 4：Much more 'hemmed in' than we expected and parking in the street. We were given a parking permit but still not as expected. There appeared to be an underground car park but as there was one space in the street this was where we were directed to park. No bar or daytime cafe at the hotel, although plenty of options very nearby.

Review 6：More drawer storage in the bedroom would have been useful as we were travelling around and had quite a lot of luggage.Our room was on the first floor and there was no lift. We were offered assistance with our luggage but would have preferred a room with lift access. There was not a beverage tray available in the bedroom.
Review 7：The hotel was family run and everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Most staff spoke some English. A central location in the historic area of Paderborn with it's own superb restaurant and many more extremely good restaurants very close by. Dining outside in the vicinity of the Pader Springs was most enjoyable. Private secure parking was available at a reasonable cost. wi fi was free and the code was offered to me while checking in.
Review 8：From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. There was a good choice for breakfast which was served in an extremely beautiful breakfast room. The hotel is situated in a good area within walking distance of lots of bars and very good restaurants. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Review 21：You cannot get to your car without the hotelstaff opening the gate for you. This can be annoying. Almost no toiletries in the rather small bathroom. Tv on the writing desk is not a good solution.

Review 29：Just minor remarks which nevertheless made our stay considerably less comfortable: room extremely dark - the light was installed in a corner that was isolated from the rest of the room by a wall, so in general there was very little light in the room, but in particular after dusk it was impossible to even read (bedside lamp was not particularly strong). The room was rather small, and the TV was installed on top of the only desk in the room, with the result that if my partner was working at the desk in the evening, I could not watch the TV, nor could I do anything else because there was no other desk. No air conditioning, and in July the room got extremely hot, so we had to open the window, but that way tons of mosquitos and bugs came into the room.

Ibooked a parking garage but they could not supply it and then insistedwe pay them for parking in the street adjacent to the hotel. Also, theyallow smoking in an internal courtyard. The smoke drifted up to our roomand we needed to have our windows shut.

Review 33：The hotel is excellent, opposite a quiet park and a small river. There are a number of bars and restaurants nearby, and the centre of the town is around 10 minutes walk away. The room we had was very large and bright, and the bathroom and shower were excellent. There is private parking in a courtyard behind the hotel. The owner was very friendly, and made us (and our dog) expecially welcome. Overall an excellent choice if you are staying in Paderborn.
