Review 1：Fantastic panoramic views of the Bodensee from the hotel and our room. We had a large, very clean room with a balcony. The hotel had great amenities, like a pool, hiking paths, etc., but we didn't have enough time to use them. Great breakfast buffet selection. Hotel is very quiet and relaxing. We traveled with our 6 month old and had a great time, but hotel seems more suitable for couples or families with older kids.

Review 13：Starting our 8 day stay touring Germany our first hotel didn'tdisappoint. The views from our room were beautiful of Lake Constance.The hotel was perfectly situated with a 10 min or so walk down intoUberlingen.

Review 39：Staff make nice, informal atmosphere, and efficient. Terrific view from Superior room. Not cheap but worth it. Huge car park. Slightly old-fashioned feel and I prefer this to modern steel, glass, white surfaces, minimalism and no soul.

Review 40：Do not make a reservation in this hotel ! It is no value for money!!!!!If they have 4* is only because they have a small sauna and pool, but,at the famous 'panorama' sauna (that is not really so and looksinto the rest rooms), there are only 13 places to lay down after thesauna. The hotel has about 300 rooms and would cater for a minimum of600 people. If these poor guests would like to go to the sauna theywould have to wait the whole days for 1 minute of rest if at all. Thefurniture and corridors is 70s style and smell and can be seen in any'pension-hotel' in Germany where you pay instead of€160/night, €40/night. Extra bed ? + €25, a dog ? add €19 andyou get the 'dog floor' with 'lake view' balcony leadingdirect into to the garden and no carpet on the cold floor.So this is atotal 'rip off'. It makes more sense to book a cheaper hotel intown and pay the difference going for walks and later or the whole dayto the splendid überlingen Therme. Moreover, you have excellent food atreasonable prices inside the pool and sauna area.

Review 41：The staff and the view … but do not make a booking here ! ...only in thefew hours when the sun manages to break through the clouds and mist fromthe lake in winter… So forget about 'lake view' upgrades at thistime of the year.

Review 42：I would not have considered this a 4-star resort because of the lack of amenities. There is no soap in the spa area when you are showering; no lotion or any other amenites besides soap in the room; no hot water pot despite a great balcony to have a cup of tea or coffee on. Our room could have definitely used a make-over -- it was 70s style with very worn wood furniture. For what we were paying even in the off season, I was expecting much more. More like a 2 to 3 star hotel to me.

Review 47：Don't go to dinner!!! albiet expensive for a 3 stars hotel, going to the room was frustering, we needed to take 3 different elevators to get to our room, and getting there the first time was very hard and had no help with the suitcases, I have helped two old couples to get from thier room to the reception due to the complex buildings.

There was noattempt from the reception staff to be apologetic.The wifi connection was inconsistent, and slow at the best of times. At one point when I'd already wasted half an hour trying to get online in my room, I was expected to pay at the 'coin operated' computer. Again, there was no courtesy from the staff about the problem. The common areas in the hotel were not welcoming or comfortable.

Review 70：The hotel is definitely far away from the lake and the town. One needsto take a 10-15 minute bus ride down. The rooms are also scatteredaround quite a bit. We were compleately in another building than thepool and the restaurant were located at. Our room did not have airconditioning and it was very small for a family.
