Review 1：Tricky wifi, no air con made it horrible at night. Not all extra charges for kids was mentioned on the hotel description.

Review 3：While it did not bother me, the hotel is located on a tram line and somewhat (relatively -- Schwerin in general is a fairly quiet little city) busy road; light sleepers might find this a drawback. (The hotel thoughtfully leaves earplugs on the pillow, however.) Also, a 5 € daily charge for wifi is a bit much nowadays.
Review 4：The Elefant is located just a few blocks from the pedestrian zone of Schwerin, within 15 minutes' walk of the castle, State Museum, State Theatre, Schweriner See, and many of the city's other main sights. The rooms are reasonably sized, the bathrooms are pleasantly modern, and everything is spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel breakfast room is delightful for architecture fans, with a stained glass skylight and carved elephant decor dating from 1870.

Review 6：beautyfull old hotel with a good service and it is nice and clean. It is also nice that there are only 500 meter to centrum, so it were easy to walk.
Review 7：There was no Air Condition, the norm for German Hotels, but it would have been nice to have. Parking is a bit tight.
Review 8：Enjoy talking with the Staff, and the Location is near the Castle. Enjoy eating dinner there, and enjoyed having breakfast outside in their garden area. They are located in what was East Germany, would love to see more Americans.

Review 28：The rooms on the street side are very noisy. The hotel supplies standard ear plugs on the night stand! The somewhat small rooms need redecoration, the furniture is getting quite old. A fridge is not available in the room.

This could have been due to a lack of demand late in the season as the hotel was quiet. It was a shame as our previous meal there was really enjoyable.
