Review 1：The smell of cigarette smoke is frequent throughout the hotel. When we opened the window, smoke came in from smoking below. Also it was a challenge to find due to local road work.

Review 3：You did not feel very welcome and got the impression that the owners wanted as little as possible to do with their guest. The only way to contact staff was by phone. During our stay the room was not cleaned and beds were not made (stayed 2 nights). The beds had synthetic, sticky, bedlinen. Soap and toilet paper were not replenished. Also, if breakfast is served until 10 o'clock there really should be something there to eat. After 9 o'clock most of the things were gone and nothing was replenished. I could not recommend this place and will not return.

Review 6：Everything good. Quiet, friendly and convenient: a nice room and a good breakfast. Handy for the station and a short pleasant stroll into the city centre.
Review 7：Staff did not have good English skills. We had to check out prior to 0800 and had to leave the key with the kitchen staff who answered the door. We then got a complaint that we did not pay. We know they had our credit card number (as our card was going to be billed if we did not show up) so thought this complaint was due to the fact that they did not think prior to sending us the email.

Review 16：Although some renovation work has been done (breakfast room, parts of the bedroom, bed linens), the overall impression of the hotel and especially the hall and staircase is that of "in need of renovation and painting". Bathroom rather small. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
Review 17：Quiet, small-sized and unpretentious city hotel with private (free) parking lot in a nicely restored neighbourhood. We were upgraded to a 2-room apartment. Amazing buffet-style breakfast that would fit a four-star hotel with an excellent choice of cold and hot food including a variation of specialities, and fresh bread. There is a small outside sitting space. Close to one of the lakes with beautiful residential houses surrounding it, and at a walking distance from the old town centre and the castle. Friendly reception. The free Wifi was functioning well.

Review 21：A small hotel, nice atmosphere, excellent breakfast. We had a room with a separate entrance to the street - like a one-room appartment. This was particularly nice, as we had a dog with us. (Maybe this was arranged as we informed the staff on the pet when we booked....)
Review 22：The room was clean and comfortable, the people were really nice and helpful and the breakfast choice was superb. The hotel also has its own *free* parking, which is a real bonus for Schwerin. Highly recommended!
Review 23：Everywhere in the hotel there is a "non fresh" smell. Sometimes a cigarette smell came from out of the garden into the hotel room and once even it came into the breakfast room.

Review 25：The rooms are renovated. Nice furnitures and very clean. Moreover, weasked for a triple room and they gave us a kind of appartment. A roomwith 2 beds and a bathroom and another room with the third bed and aseparate bathroom.
