Reviews for Coralview Island Resort

Review 1:The food is especially terrible. The meal plan is mandatory and $89 FJD per person per day so you have no other options but to eat the bad food. The flies are also really bad around the eating area, making it even more difficult to enjoy your meal. The island and resort area are small so if you don't participate in the paid activities they offer, you will probably get bored fast.

Review 2:There are a lot of activities at reasonable prices. We were jet lagged and chose to be lazy, but regretted not participating in more activities when we arrived at our next resort which had none. The staff is very friendly and treats you like family. The room was nice. We had a private room with private bathroom and it was a great value for the money.

Review 3:- No real sandy beach in front of the resort (however this is compensated by having a coral reef to snorkel at directly in front of the resort). There is a small sandy beach where the boats are moored. - If you want luxury rooms, look elsewhere (however they are clean, simple and you won´t find anything cheaper, so good value for money).

Review 4:Stayed for almost a week and had a great time there. More activities offered than at the other Resorts and way cheaper too (this is "the" Resort for affordable activities). Great open- and warm-hearted staff. Best value for money by far compared to any of the other resorts. All electricity is self-sufficiently produced by a new large solar plant (eco-friendly).

Review 5:Sometimes I had to look for someone to get me a beer from the bar as thebarman wasn't there all the time but I was a thirsty Irishman onholidays so I could understand that they had to go and do other thingslike stocktaking and weren't expecting me up every few mins: )

Review 6:Staff were all so welcoming. As it was Fiji Day while we were there, they brought us out on several activities free of charge and entertainedus for the whole night with Fijian Dancing, Authentic Fijian dinner anda Cava ceremony. We stayed for 5 days in a private bure and it wascleaned everyday and very comfortable.

Review 7:Location was bad. Super windy, no beach at all. Bad food. Husband got terrible food poisoning. Dirty rooms and bathrooms. No water at all. On the one day we had water (kind of) it barely trickled out of the tap, and it was pure salt water. Compulsory meal plan was expensive ($90!). We paid for 3 nights and 3 days of meal, but left after the 2nd night. Couldn't take it anymore!

Review 8:Going to see the caves was nice, but not worth the $73.

Review 9:At one day we got lunch at very different times, so my girlfriend got hers about 30 minutes later than me when I was already finished with mine.

Review 10:Service was perfect! Very friendly and caring.

Review 11:On the first day I noticed the public restrooms weren't as clean as they could have been.

Review 12:I liked MANY things about Coral View Island Resort. The staff was happy and you could tell they have a good relationship with one another. The staff also remembers everyone's name. The food is also delicious, plentiful, and fancy. I was shocked! One evening my friend was ill so we hadn't shown up to dinner. The head chef came to our bure and asked if we were okay because he noticed we didn't show up for dinner (and we really like to eat). He then delivered dinner to me, so that I could stay with my friend. Vinaka!

Review 13:The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Patrick made our stay as he was always getting us involved in different activities such as volleyball and kayaking. There is so much to do on the island including several complimentary activities. We were only there for 5 nights but it flew by. We particularly enjoyed the coconut planting and the snorkelling was amazing!

Review 14:Room's Cleanliness needs to be improved; no unsalted for shower; and shower water is a little bit too small, hard to get wet.

Review 15:Very nice staff; this resort is in a quite location that is very good for relax and hideaway; the free snorkelling trip which provided by the resort is enjoyable; We stayed in Room B9 for 3 nights. This room locates at a quite and private location. Mountain and farm view and nice place for Star seeing, highly recommended; If you see Kokoda in the menu, highly recommend to order it, it's the best we ever had in Fiji!!

Review 16:Great location with protected swimming area and snorkeling out front. While away time in a hammock or on the beachfront. Great meals and entertainment.

Review 17:having to say goodbye

Review 18:warm friendly staff who were all so diverse in their abilities and who always had a smile of their faces and definitely go out of their way to make sure u enjoy your holiday . loved the island too . snorkelling. kayaking added to the fun . visited for our 40th wedding anniversary and for us it was certainly idyllic.

Review 19:Water in shower was inconsistent but it's on an island and they are having a draught. Staff can't control the weather.

Review 20:The staff was exemplary. Fun activities.

Review 21:1、位置好,去Cave,Blue Lagoon,潜水和拜访村庄都很方便,步行10分钟能到沙滩,很大很美。 Close to the Cave, Blue Lagoon, easy to visit the village and to dive, the sand beach in ten minutes walking distance is very buetiful; 2、每日都有安排好的可选项目,上下午都有,住两三天可以都体验到。 There are scheduled activies every day for morning and afternoon, can be experienced in a two-three days stay. 3、员工很热情友好。 The staff is very kind and warm heart.

Review 22:The beach at Coralview is definitely a disappointment. There is little space for tanning or swimming, and the view from the beach is not very pretty. However, each day, a free boat crosses to another beach with incredible sand bars, so that makes up for it.

Review 23:The staff was wonderful, and the activities offered were better and much more organized than any of the four other resorts I stayed at while in Fiji. The dorms are clean and well-designed (the dorm I stayed in had single beds rather than bunks) and the food was some of the best I ate in Fiji. They offer free sea kayaking in glass bottom kayaks every morning, and there are plenty of great scuba diving and snorkeling activities available.

Review 24:Forget what people say about the sea. It's incredible. Just head for the beach about 20mins walk away. Staff great. Bures great. Paradise

Review 25:main guy not people friendly. Jet ski very overpraised. Even in France in french riviera were attraction cheaper!!! You have to buy meal plan for $90 per person per night.

Review 26:the view on BIG yellow digger, when you have breakfast or lying on stoney "beach" if you can call it beach. There is many another resort which are much better. We left after first night!

Review 27:Small beach, when we were there it was was very windy. Bungalow was old and dirty and the bed wasn't good.

Review 28:Great location at blue lagoon, on top of the island nice view over the blue lagoon. Friendly staff.

Review 29:There was Ant in the beds for three nights & the staff were rude and unhelpful when trying to sort it out. The beach is not great. The place went dead as soon as dinner had finished. The sunset walk was just dangerous.

Review 30:There is a shop on site, Food was good however there was no desert so it was pricey.

Review 31:No beach, bad location for snorkeling, Maybe the worst location to go in yasawas if you wont lie down on the garden all day.

Review 32:Good variety of foods, friendly and helpful staff, fire dance Show and fiji time.

Review 33:No beach front Steep water access Strange pier right in front to form artificial sea-pool Not bare foot friendly
