Review 1：The wi-fi was not too good. Thick walls was the excuse, which I guess would be a drawback in an older place. Jet tub was not working properly.

Review 3：Staff could have given better directions for our late arrival. Also, there was no taxi service available, as the staff had assurred us there would be. Actually, there was only one taxi and another group from the train was right ahead of us and got the taxi. The lady Taxi Driver was rude and said there were no more taxis avail tonight due to the Oktoberfest - which didn't begin for another week. We asked if she could come back to get us and she refused. She said it was only about a mile anad gave us wrong directions to your hotel. We are all in our late 60s and early 70s and carrying lots of luggage. Due to Refugee Traffic in Munich our trains were delayed and we didn't arrive until 11:00 pm. There were no instructions from the hotel staff as to how we could get into the hotel, after hours. In fact, when we said we would be arriving late, we were not told the desk closed at 11 PM. We lugged our luggage around Passau for about an hour trying to find the hotel. Luckily we knew another couple who was staying at the hotel and relayed instructions for late arrivals. Had we not had this contact, we would never have gotten into the hotel that night.

Review 6：As a very light sleeper with excellent hearing, I had the problem of being woken up by the early morning traffic. This is a personal issue of mine.

Review 8：The location right on the river a two mniute walk with bike next day to get boat to Linz a trip on the Danube instead of cycling to our next stop!. The views of the River, the hotel itself was nice, had a nice feel to it. Room was quite spacious. Staff very helpful and they let us have a small breakfast as we didn't eat until late the previous evening as we arrived late in Passau. When we checked out I said we need to pay for the breakfast no they said it is fine! Unbelievable that wouldn't happen in the UK!
Review 9：No wireless Wi-fi in room , you have to go in commun area , but in you have a iPad or IPhone you will not be able to log in , thw Wi-Fi do not accept apple product ?!?! The Spa was out of ordrer.

Review 37：The hotel is located on the river and on the main shopping street. It is extremely close to the Christmas Market and shopping area. There was a little street noise, but the hotel provides earplugs. The room was quite spacious. The breakfast buffet had a variety of foods. There is only five parking spots in the hotel garage, but there is an inexpensive parking garage less than a km away. They are pet friendly.
Review 38：Staff was consistently of rather average helpfulness and communication skills. The parking policy is far from transparent - there are only 5 places and nobody was able to tell us when any of them could be free. Hence, no effective way to book a parking place.

It could not be better located. The staff were very accomodating, rooms were very clean and breakfast was well done.

Spacious room with good storage, good powerful shower, comfy bed (though pillows were virtually non-existent – our only complaint), excellent TV and great view of river. Hotel garage parking underneath (€10 per night, a bit expensive) limited to 5 cars but reasonably spacious for that number. Would definitely choose again.
