Review 1：This is the second time we have stayed at the Alt Enginger Mühle and we enjoyed every min. both times, the staff are frendly and the owners are top the rooms are big and clean we would go back any time.

Review 2：Hotel is in a recently converted very old mill building not far from a large water sports area, outside there is nice beer garden with waitresses wearing traditional dirndl serving very good food. Breakfast was excellent

Review 4：The staff were very accommodating and although sometimes the language difference had some barriers to communication,the staff always tried their best and were very helpful at all times.

Review 8：Hotel curtains are almost transparent in night and do not block any light, which means at 4.30 am in teh morning you will get light inside yoru room (which makes it difficult for a persan like me who is used to sleep with double curtains). Also there is carpet on the rooms but no carpet in the corridor which enhances noise of heels and shoes when people walk which is very irritating in the night. So as I did not have a comfortabel night in the hotel.

Review 9：Quiet and peaceful location with nice surroundings, clean room and washroom, friendly staff, very nice restaurant with very nice shere, good menu, good quality food and quick service , basic but fresh breakfast. Wifi is good in the restaurant but not in room.

Review 14：Located above a traditional Beer Garden, the hotel is beautiful and cozy, the restaurant downstairs is warm and welcoming, breakfast is good, the parking lot outside offers space for every guest. Quiet area, away from the traffic.

Review 17：We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and all spoke very good English. The room we stayed in was superb, very comfortable and spacious. The food was fantastic, breakfast even included bacon and eggs. There was a very relaxing atmosphere within the hotel. The hotel wasn't far from town, only a short bus or car ride. We basically parked our car at the hotel and didn't move it the whole time we were there and the parking was free. There was also free wifi for residents. We loved our stay there and will be going back next year.

Review 18：Would have been nice to have a kettle and a fridge in the room but these were small inconveniences.

Review 19：We were upgraded to an apartment room which was luxurious and very spacious. The staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly. They were able to speak good English despite the classicly German theme of the Hotel. The food was absolutely amazing.

Review 21：Alt Enginger Muhle has a nice rural outlook though is just outside of Elsen and on a bus route straight into Paderborn. Friendly staff, and all can speak English to a very good standard.

Review 22：Quiet peaceful location out of town in countryside location but notisolated. If you enjoy rustic tradional German experience this hotelfits the bill. The staff are bilingual,friendly and helpful. The foodserved in the restaurant is also german style but that is what I expectsnd enjoyed. Full value for money and would use again.

Review 28：throughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel the staff were friendly & helpful.it was far enough away from the busy city of Paderborn to make our stay relaxing and restful but Paderborn was easily reached if we wanted to go there.Our son is in the armed forces based in Paderborn so we would use this hotel again when we next visit him.

Review 29：This is our 3rd stay at this traditional hotel. Warm friendly greeting and nothing was too much trouble. Ideal for visiting our son and his family who are close by in Paderborn serving in the forces. The family celebration dinner was brilliant with excellent service and food with our young grandchildren being welcomed and looked after by the staff. Another comfortable and informal stay with Monica and Marcus the owners discretely running and organising along the way. Looking forward to returning again soon. Always a good and substantial buffet style breakfast for 5 euros pp. Also variations in the menu to suit tastes was accommodated. Bill and Trish

Review 30：Small intimate hotel in a quiet location but easily accessable to the centre of Padeborn. Excellent service and the food was of a very high standard. I was particularly pleased with the attitude of the staff, who were very amenable.
