Review 1：Hotel is going through refurbishment and the rooms are not fully finished off our friends room was full of dust from the work but stil did not ruin the stay

Both the lady and gent( sorry, don't know names) on reception, who also served af breakfast and bar thru the day were friendly and helpful. Larry, African grey parrot, was hilarious- tho only friendly to men- very entertaining! Stunning views from hotel, pool overlooking the sea and pebble beach. Not a luxury hotel, but has charm - loved it. Our room advertised as partial sea view - photo added.

Review 8：Location very good and despite a side view the room was very good.The only downside the first room we were given was a bit dated,the door to the balcony would not close and air con u/s but they changed room without a problem

Review 11：Even though there was not a lot of staff customer service did not come as natural with an other. Having been in the Hotel trade it's essential that customers are encouraged to return having had a memorable experience. It would be a pity to loose custom because of staff. I have ticked excellent for staff mainly because of one.

Review 12：Perfect Location, excellent customer service from Somia always a smile and very helpfull and informative. We intend to book again later in the year and hope she is there to greet us. Perfect healthy breakfast, we only booked i night but decided to stay for another because a healthy option of breakfast is not always common in spain but this was very much appreciated.

Constant stink of bad drains andsewage (feeble excuse "been shut up & when wind blows wrong way"-WRONG Owner said all rooms on top floor were same & didi not offerroom change or compensation. Do not use airport transfer by owner wewere left stranded at airport 1hour did not turn up or notify us

Review 21：fabulous little family run hotel -cannot be beaten for location , the seaview rooms have an awesome uninterupted view right across the bay to calpe , the patio is huge with sunbeds and table and chairs -the food is excellent , they offer lunch and great value dinner - cosy little bar area and a nice swimming pool with a view , 30 second walk to seafront in Albir and the bars and restaurants - great staff -this is our second stay it did not disapoint - also nice and warm in the evening which in winter is important as it gets quite cold .

Review 22：We went for three days for my birthday the day of my birthday we had to wait 1 hour to change rooms first room there was stitched holes in bedding, basically clean then after a bath the water was leaking down stairs onto the bar that's why we had to chage rooms the day of my birthday. Next room they gave us there was a bad drain smell coming from bathroom . And it would take the toilet flush ages to fill that was loud enough to stop us sleeping never go back again spoilt my birthday. The guy who worked there was not pleasant at all. These rooms are far to expensive we've spent less in hostels and had better rooms and service. We've always booked with booking.com but don't think we will in the future.

Review 24：Sparse selection for breakfast - and some days they ran out of things, and no staff as such. Facilities poor. Maintenance not good. Most days there was a smell of sewage when u came through the front gate. Wont be going there again. Very expensive for very little.

Review 26：Hard beds, had to ask for a couple of duvet's to sleep on. The whole place needs a makeover as it is a bit grotty. Sometimes breakfast wasn't up to scratch. The young lad was always complaining about something or someone, shouldn't really be working there. Swimming pool not big enough & too near to people eating. If you ask to be picked up don't get the owner, he terrified us taking us back to the airport, how we didn't crash I don't know, terrible driver. Will get the bus if we ever go back!

Review 28：the first night the A/C wasn`t working well and so we were very uncomfortable. After help by staff that problem was resolved. The room was a bit too small and the lounge could do with some comfy chairs.

Review 85：This is the second time we have stayed here - we love the location and the view from the terraces is the best in Albir, if not the whole of the Costa Blanca. We were welcomed by Sonja, a charming and efficient young woman, who is a real asset to the hotel. The breakfast has also been improved with the addition of fresh croissants/pan au chocolat and fresh baked bread, as well as a smart new hot drinks machine.

Review 101：A warmer welcome would have been appreciated - when we arrived, the guyon reception barely looked at us, or spoke to us, other than to ask forpassports and tell us our room number etc. Also, the breakfast waspretty basic, and we often had to ask for orange juice, coffee etc as ithad run out.

Review 102：This is pretty, little hotel situated overlooking the beach. Our roomwas clean and comfortable with a lovely big terrace, with the best viewsin Albir. The beach is 30 seconds away and there are lots of bars andrestaurants close by. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel and thechef Jonny, & his assistant, serve a great paella as well as freshfish - I particularly recommend the "lubina" (sea bass). Wouldrecommend this hotel, and will definitely stay here again next time weare in Albir.

Review 103：Filthy carpets on the corridor floors. It would have been better with no carpet. The room needed a total refurb, furniture and painting. The pool needed cleaning. The outside terraces all need repainting and rufurbishing. The one guy doing breakfast duty was miserable and rude and unhelpful. Great shame because it is in a fantastic position. Needs money spending on it.

Review 107：We stayed for New Year's Eve, we went into Benidorm for the evening& got back about 2.00am. We were on the ground floor with wonderfulviews overlooking the sea, however, the hotel is only small, staff &some other guests partied (very loudly) until about 4.30am. If I hadknown when I booked I & don't think I would have stayed, when wechecked in the guy at reception (the owner, I think) said they would bepartying till 3am but it didn't quieten down till at least 5. Hey,Ho, but would stay again but not new year's eve.
