Review 1：This was by far the nicest place we stayed during our 16 day Europe trip. The rooms are very modern and the beds are very comfortable. It is in a great location and the breakfast was fantastic.

Review 2：We arrived at the hotel on the afternoon of New Years Eve. One of the desk clerks worked very hard phoning around to restaurants in the area to get us a reservation for supper. She went above & beyond!

Review 3：The room we got was outside, connected to the building with a corridor and steep staircase exposed to the rain and wind, through which we had to carry our suitcases. It was overlooking the parking area. Very unpleasant location and access.

Review 7：It was way too hot in our room and the pillows were flat. Also, if you are coming by car, you have to drive on to the pedestrian zone. They do have secure parking for the car, but trying to get to the hotel without knowing the area was extremely confusing. I would recommend coming by public transportation if you are coming to this hotel, unless you are familiar with the area/driving rules and regulations. However, the breakfast was AMAZING!!!! Also, there is a pool, restaurant, and bar!

Review 9：I booked the Premium room, taking the pictures at booking.com as reference, but the room they gave me is not so good as the picture shows. The lift goes only up to the 4th floor. If the room is at the 5th floor, is necessary to take the luggages by stairs. Parking lot is not enough for the quantity of cars there.

Review 11：Our room on the second floor could only be accessed from an outside spiral staircase leading off of the parking lot/garden and not from the interior of the building. Good thing we travel light.

Review 15：Worth being aware that to get to the car park, you need to drive down what looks like a pedestrian only zone. This wasn't entirely clear when booking. If you have any mobility problems (we didn't) it's worth letting the hotel know as some rooms wouldn't be accessible from the elevator alone. (Most are though)

Review 16：Great location near the lake! The staff were very friendly and showed us to our room which would have been tricky to find otherwise. We were given a free upgrade to one of their new rooms on arrival which was beautiful and had air conditioning which was a bonus. It was nice to have the pool to visit too.

The hotel has a nice spa and is at the perfect location in the old part of town. Everything is perfect when staying at this hotel. (They also have a/c! for those hot days in summer!) Review 36：Very friendly staff attend to all of your needs. Perfectly located close to Friedrichshafen Stadt station, the Zeppelin museum and shops and cafes, some rooms have views of Bodensee. My room was very well equipped and presented, and the free wifi and comprehensive breakfast were the icing on the cake. Highly recommended and I would definitely return.

Review 46：Desk clerk, Dennis Deitmers showed outstanding customer service when I arrived at Hotel City Krone. I wanted to publicly praise him for all his efforts. Also, in the morning a couple of hours after check out, I noticed I forgot my train ticket in the room, the cleaning crew went through their trash bins and found it. I can not thank them enough for recovering it! I have never taken the time to write a review before, but the service, hotel location and room comfort was exceptional and I just had to write to let everyone know.

Review 47：I didn't like my room which despite having a fantastic view, the elevator did not give access to this floor. It was necessary to climb a flight of stairs. And with bags this is difficult.

No direct view on the lake from my room but that's ok, nice view on an old clock tower. It is only 50m away. Many restaurants and small bars in the neighborhood. Within walking distance from the Ferry (5min walk). Next time, I will stay there again for sure! I wish I stayed more than 1 night.

Review 55：Once again we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We chose it for its location which is very central to the village. It is close to the bus/train stations and so easy to use local transport. The staff are extremely helpful. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable and clean . Limited car parking is available on site .
