Reviews for Altstadt-Hotel Zieglerbräu

Review 1:1) room is small and dim 2) where exactly is the patio? 3) smell of the kitchen downstairs 4) the timer of the heater in the bathroom sometimes malfunctions 5) rather simple breakfast

Review 2:1) Christmas market just outside the hotel 2) hotel has its own restaurant and the food is delectable 3) bright and spacious bathroom 4) 'welcome gummi' on bed

Review 3:There was a carnival going on in town, and several folks returned to the hotel around 2:00 a.m., having some fairly loud conversations, and the bells of the church (across the street) went off every 15 minutes until after 3:00 a.m., so the quality of our sleep was affected.

Review 4:The staff was welcoming, funny and tolerated our lacking language skills, they spoke English and made us feel at ease. We ate at their outdoor restaurant and it was one of the best dining experiences during our entire month-long trip.

Review 5:Room tiny. And with no air con had to have the window open which made it noisy.

Review 6:Staff are very friendly. And helpful. Little room had a balcony. Shower was good.

Review 7:Payment and checkout took a long time because the credit card machine did not work. In the end we had to go and get cash from the ATM.

Review 8:Nice location in the old town onf Dachau

Review 9:To put Tea, coffee facility in the room could be nice.

Review 10:Excellent location, helpfull and polite staff.

Review 11:Location and good food

Review 12:hotel restaurant with excellent beers (the hotel was a brewery), huge room with a very comfortable bed, complementary water in room,

Review 13:None

Review 14:Everything was clean and tidy, but fittings and furnishings clearly showing their age.

Review 15:Nice traditional “Stube” in the dining and breakfast area and central location right in the heart of Dachau.

Review 16:However, the check-in was at 3PM and we arrived earlier. Receptionist could have been a little nicer explaining the delay. Makes a difference in the experience.

Review 17:Historic hotel built in 1608 with many little details like the old black and white paintings, the old stove in the breakfast room. View over the hill with the city below is very nice.

Review 18:No air conditioning or fan, can be a bit noisy from the street at night. Bathroom was very dark. You can’t park in the old town, we had to park the car at a public car park which was a 5-10 minute walk down the hill.

Review 19:Very spacious and clean room, nice central location in the old part of town. Friendly staff, free Wifi.

Review 20:This hotel is located a little far from Dachau station...

Review 21:This hotel is in a quiet place so that we could hear some birds singing even in the room. Very kind staff helped us stay comfortable. And, there is a good beer restaurant at ground floor.

Review 22:No car park, I had to put my car in a public park at the bottom of the hill then climb up the steps to the hotel.

Review 23:The hotel was OK but in the middle of the old city

Review 24:No tea. Many various kinds of fruit and herbal ones but not Just a plain old cup.

Review 25:The hotel was clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a buffet one and ample. Staff friendly although we didn't see a great deal of them. There is a bus stop to station right outside of hotel and trains to Munich take only 20 minutes. It is walkable turn right out of hotel and down steps past shops cross the road and straight down takes 10 mins. Some good restaurants about and pretty cobbled streets. If you go to see dachau memorial site bus from outside takes 10 minutes. Nice hotel and not a bad price.

Review 26:The heater was turned off in my room I.E. the room was very cold (~14degrees) when I arrived. There was no hairdryer in the room which Iexpect to be standard equipment in a hotel.About this review: There is no option "travelling with collegues", only single traveller, couple, family, friends etc.. I belive travelling with collegues is quite common when you are on a business trip. So as this form is designed I have to click of an option which is not true, to be able to submit my comments.
