Review 1：The family running the hotel has been extremely hospital & warm and delighting us with an extremely pleasant stay that almost felt like "coming home". We chatted for quite a while with the owner who enjoys telling about his property and the surrounding. We also recieved plenty of recommendations from him to discover the region that we all followed. The more than 300-old house has been for most of its parts renovated, while still keeping the "original" style. Our 5-person room felt very new and modern. In the morning we enjoyed a typical big German breakfast. Lovely experience. We would for sure come back.

Review 14：Only stayed one night for horse trail ride in Todtmoos. A very old "check in at the bar" family owned gasthaus. Which is fine. Rooms were clean with nice countryside views. It is in the process of renovations by the owner Rolf, who is also a great cook and very welcoming. As of our visit, the renovations are not disruptive at all. I never heard a saw or hammer. I would stay here again. And longer too!
