Review 1：No air conditioning, so it was unbearably hot and the curtains did not black out the sun at dawn.

Review 2：Lovely little hotel near the train station, so really didn't need to take a taxi at all.

Review 3：We were in this hotel in august 2015 with temperatures outside about 33-36 C. Then we have very high temp in room even at night, because there is no air- conditioning in the hotel!!!!

Review 6：The location is great - close to the main station and a 5 minute walk to the inner city shopping area. The staff have been very helpful. Needed ice for my drinks. The hotel had just defrosted its fridge .But the attending staff at the reception went across the road to a bar and got some ice for me. That to me really exemplifies good service.

Review 14：Mattress really needs to be replaced (too soft, impossible not to wake up in pain). I also did not like the fact that I had to go upstairs (from 2nd to 3rd floor there is no elevator). The staircase is very very narrow.

The room was large, clean and reasonably comfortable, though dated. The price was fair. The breakfast was what one would normally expect in Germany, but lacking in fresh fruit choices. The breakfast room was clean and very pleasant. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. Internet service was not consistently reliable from our room unfortunately.

Review 87：We liked the proximity to the downtown and George-August University. I attended the University 36 years ago and I wanted to share the University and downtown with my wife. Hotel Stadt Hannover was an excellent choice for us. It was very comfortable, convenient, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. We did have some difficulty obtaining internet access, but, otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay. While Hotel Stadt Hannover was excellent overall, our timing to visit the City was not ideal. The downtown main street was under construction and we were disappointed in the large amount of graffitti throughout the City. If conditions in the City were more favorable we would have stayed longer.

The hotel is right on the edge of themain area of town and was very convenient to the many restaurants andshopping. Gottingen is a great little town and well worth a visit.

Thisis absolutely no problem - the staff is outstanding and the hotel isclean, clean, clean!The biggest surprise was the breakfast: Extremely friendly staff, very attentive and smiling. Also the food was very good. Göttingen, to my surprise, was charming and beautiful, and the hotel is located in the city center. If you are American go there: All the buildings are old and unique! The hotel has it's own parking lot 100m away. It's locked and seems pretty safe.
