Review 1：The rooms were wonderfully designed (and with hardwood floors!), quiet, nice furniture, fantastic breakfast, very friendly and interactive staff, cute little town

Review 2：This was my favorite hotel of any of them we stayed at in our entire trip to Austria. I want to come back to this town just to stay at this hotel again.

Review 3：We didn't find the hotel staff very friendly. Service in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was particularly poor. Bathroom toiletries were minimal and shared between guests.

Review 20：Great for a stopover night on your way to Italy. Your vacation starts right here, specially when you like the individual style of boutique hotels. We had a great dinner outside.

Review 21：The staff was very helpful in providing advice on the area. They printed bus schedules and provided maps. Very friendly! The design of the hotel is very nice--classic design, but with modern updates. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a nice mix of hot and cold selections. I would stay here again.

Review 22：Just some minor quibbles. Given that the rooms are not very large, every inch counts. The bed frame extended a full four inches beyond the mattress, a waste of space. The chair at the desk was too low. Small shower stall.

Review 28：We were a bit surprised at the total makeover/upgrade from thegracious hotel we had stayed in five or so years ago. It is now amodern, beautifully furnished hotel. While some of the charm of theprevious hotel has been lost, the replacement has been very well done.The dining room and food were excellent. Our room was also excellent inall details. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay.

Review 29：The hotel is a little difficult to find (tucked in off the main street) and has very limited parking available but that should not deter you from staying at the Alpenrose .

Review 30：I stayed previously at this location while on a business trip so when we were planning this trip for pleasure I immediately thought of this hotel. Very comfortable rooms with free internet and a great breakfast . Although there is a construction site adjacent to the hotel, there was no noise .

Review 31：The place was hard to find- it's located in what's largely a pedestrianarea of town, and the "road" you'd normally take to get there was underconstruction. We eventually found hand-written signs for the hotelposted on a building, after we had found it!The rooms were wonderful, but not a great fit for my family of 6. We ended up having to get an extra room, but I blame user error for that.

Review 32：The hotel has been recently renovated, the rooms are really nice. One ofthe more opulent places I've stated recently (better than most places Istay for business, which are generally pretty nice hotels).The staff was *extremely* accommodating. We arrived late at night, and really had a hard time finding the place. The staff patiently navigated us in by phone, and then made sure we were able to have dinner, even though we were past closing. Couldn't ask for more.

Review 33：There was no air conditioning in the room I stayed in (seemly onlycertain rooms are equipped with air conditioning), but the receptionistLaura acquired a fan, she was very helpful, and also provided me withextra towels as I was late arriving, a great asset to the hotel.There was only a bottle of soap stuck on the wall in the bathroom, no soap bar at the sink, found that to be a bit disappointing, as it is a 4* hotel.

Review 34：The food was excellent,very well presented, enjoyable outside courtyard,and pleasant surroundings.Excellent staff, willing to help with any request, Laura the receptionist was a great asset, accommodating me with a fan and extra towels. The cleaners also were great, if they were on the floor at the time and required anything extra, they would get or give it to you. Great service all round

Review 35：Only little point was the smoke from the terrace, when people sat belowour bedroom window. We could smell it, it was not very disturbing butperhaps it would be good to have the smokers sitting on the outer sideof the terrace.

Review 37：The room was clean but but they need a better check list for the maids. We had no soap for the bath/shower. One liquid for shampoo and soap is not as nice as separate liquids.
