Reviews for Hotel DAH-Inn
Review 1:The family room was wonderful for my 3y old son. The location was great too. Just 300m walking to the city center and to a local grocery store. Also quick to get to Dacu concentration camp and Munich International Airport.
Review 2:Difficult conversing with some of the staff.
Review 3:It was very tiding and clean. Was in close walking distance from the memorial Dachau Concentration camp and just below the delightful village of Dachau where there is an all day market on Sunday. Excellent breakfast.
Review 4:Having to get individual 'vouchers' for the wi-fi. With several wi-fi enabled electronics it was a bit of a pain.
Review 5:The breakfast! Out of all the B&B's and Hotels we stopped in on our 3 week tour of Europe this was by far the most outstanding. Great choice. Room a good size, clean and tidy with good facilities. Good location.
Review 6:very spacious, clean and nice breakfast; room was located 5 mns walk from main building; nice jog / walk possible along the river nearby; mid august beerfest was an unexpected bonus experience.
Review 7:No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Review 8:Spacious, quiet room and large bathroom, location, motorbike parking right at the front door of our room, cafe seating area gave an added place to wile away the hours and added to the sense of space.
Review 9:Excellent location and service, very warm and kind personnel, clean room, nice breakfast and convenient to go to Munich Airport. We stayed only one night and it was great.
Review 10:Walk-able from train station- we were in family room in the building about 1 block away- but it was actually closer to what we wanted to see/do and 1 block from fabulous grocery with great produce. The family suite had small fridge and we had the whole 3rd floor on this building so very private and quiet. Staff at main building were very accommodating with keeping luggage after check-out and helping with whatever else was needed.
Review 11:Dachau is a very quiet town, not a lot to do in the evening.
Review 12:Very friendly lady that checked us in and guided us on where was open to eat on a Monday night.
Review 13:Nothing bad per say. The bed was not uncomfortable, but could have been a bit nicer. Parking was a bit limited, but it is not a very busy area of town.
Review 14:Nice room, good location. The breakfast spread was good and they would make eggs and such if you liked. The room was quaint, but nice. The surrounding town is very pretty; quiet, but has shops and restaurants within waking distance. Staff all spoke good English.
Review 15:Not great location for business visit, but that is not their fault. Good for leisure trips.
Review 16:Staff's friendly responses. They were very helpful on every instances I needed help on.
Review 17:Locals were noisy on the street during the night.
Review 18:The place was very clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was helpful and the location was just what we wanted. We walked into old town and had a great dinner and then drove to the Dachau camps in ten minuets.
Review 19:It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room.
Review 20:Even though the room was located a few blocks from the main hotel we had no complaints. It was an apartment style room with a very nice modern decor and parking on the street. Great breakfast and a super staff.
Review 21:Lack of electrical kettle in rooms.
Review 22:Great & really nice staff! So tasty and various breakfast! Really high comfort and calm rooms! I would recommend! :)
Review 23:The bathroom was clean and spacious, but very dark, the lighting was poor. Difficult for my husband to shave in the morning, I didn't even try to put my makeup on in there.
Review 24:Great location, at the bottom of the hill of Old Town, great views of the castle, beautiful courtyard with comfortable seating, very large breakfast buffet, large double room with plenty of space between the bed and the walls
Review 25:Room was a little small but adequate for overnight stay.
Review 26:Staff very friendly, great breakfast, close to train station. Clean room. Lovely spot. Close to cafes.
Review 27:Most of the staff had connections to my home town in Ireland! They were very nice young people. The restaurant (adjacent) was really good. The room was so clean and comfortable. A gem!
Review 28:A lot of street noise...but I am a light sleeper. No complaints from my daughter
Review 29:Modern decor, very clean, good breakfast, close to sister hotel and nice beer garden.
Review 30:We picked this place for free parking, but there was no place to park. We parked in the wrong place and made some residents quite unhappy. We had no help when it came to parking.
Review 31:Very nice person staffing breakfast.
Review 32:On street parking only. The floor in our room squeaked with every footstep.
Review 33:Nice hotel with modern decor. A good sized room. Nice breakfast + the lady serving breakfast was so cheerful, friendly & helpful, we would stay there again for that reason alone. :-)
Review 34:There were lots of choices at breakfast. Our room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. We would definitely stay here again!
Review 35:breakfast a bit unclear - dirty egg frying pans in the communal kitchen but no hot egg visible, but food was nice

Review 64:Very friendly staff Very nice courtyard Very large bathroom and shower Close to the old town
Review 65:Whole experience was great!
Review 66:Parking was on street and for a limited time on weekdays.
Review 67:Dinner in the adjacent gasthaus owned by the family.
Review 68:Everything was perfect :)
Review 69:Bed was squeaking a bit and so was the floor so impossible to go up at night quietly. Traffic was a bit annoying at night.
Review 70:Visiting Dachau Concentration camp this hotel is located perfectly nearby. Rather large room and the hotel staff is extremely friendly and there’s no problem communication in English. Very clean fresh rooms. Really a great hotel and a great family atmosphere. Breakfast was eminent and they would make you a fresh omelet if wanted. home made marmalade etc. Perfect! We stayed for two nights and had a great stay. Perhaps just a bit expensive compared to other european hotels
Review 71:We stayed in the annex and there was a problem with the hot water supply but the owner made it right. Parking was on street and not always available very close to the room.
Review 72:Breakfast was wonderful as was dinner at the Drei Rosen restaurant. Staff very friendly our room was very comfortable.
Review 73:The only thing is the cheapest room is in basement and it is not in the same location as the receptions. It would be great that this information is clear on the website.
Review 74:I had very good stay in DAH-Inn for 6 nights. Tina was very very helpful .Breakfast was excellent . Dachau is a beautiful and quiet German town. I love it
Review 75:Located on busy street so a lot of noise. We were there on a very hot day so we had to leave the windows open since there was no air or even a fan. Bugs got in the room.
Review 76:Quaint property and staff was very friendly and helpful.
Review 77:The room was very small and should only be rented as a single for one person. The room had only the patio door that could not be left open for security and privacy. A fan would have helped immensely.
Review 78:The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.
Review 79:No fans in the room.
Review 80:Comfortable room and large enough. Plenty of walking trails nearby and close to the downtown. Numerous restaurants within a few blocks. Breakfast was typical German.
Review 81:The friendliness of the Frau Hoerman at the desk, kitchen, dining room. She couldn't have been more cheerful, helpful and just plain sweet! We also enjoyed the Drei Rosen Restaurant owned by the same family and within walking distance. We only wish we had been able to stay longer! We would highly recommend this family-owned and operated Bavarian Inn!
Review 82:No problems.
Review 83:This was my second stay at the DAH-Inn. Again, it met all my expectations. I was immediately recognized as a "return customer" by the receptionist. She made sure I had a room with good internet connection. The hotel is a short 10 minute walk from the train station. The room was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom has very nice amenities for the traveler in a hurry. Breakfast was great, and the staff are attentive to your needs. I am looking for to my third and future visits.
Review 84:Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast with eggs to order and the full compliment of German meats, cheeses, breads, etc. Short walk up the hill to the old town. Exceptionally roomy and comfortable.
Review 85:Our rooms entered directly onto the outside courtyard but the security key seemed good.
Review 86:Very nice rooms and beds. Underfloor bathroom heating! Helpful and friendly staff, called us to tell us we had left a mobile phone and charger and then sent it on to us without request for any payment.
Review 87:This is NOT a major concern, but the annex is a few blocks from the hotel building (reception), so one has to carry luggage back forth for check-out
Review 88:This is nice hotel within walking distance from the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Internet worked well. Comfortable room. Nice amenities in the bathroom for travelers.
Review 89:Very friendly, helpful staff. This family owned hotel is a very good location if you visit Munich or Dachau and if you are travelling with a dog, it is the best place to stay. The location is very good, parking places might be found just behind the building. Breakfast was delicious, always freshly baked breadrolls, fantastic homemade jams. We loved the spacious rooms as well.
Review 90:Nice and comfortable bedroom Friendly staff always ready to help us in our different requests Yummy buffet breakfast! The hotel ambiance is like a bed&breakfast, very cosy
Review 91:I booked and got confirmed a: 1. non-smoking "Allergy-free" room 2. "This room also features a children's play area which is decorated with colourful animals on the walls." We ended up with a room that smelled like cigarette smoke and the children's play area was a fold out coach with no decoration at all.
Review 92:Very friendly. We were badly held up in a traffic jam for 2 hours and they kindly waited at reception until we got there at 11 pm. Very clean and a nice breakfast. The room was small but adequate with nice homey touches.
Review 93:Not enough parking onsite
Review 94:Main floor access was nice as no stairs. Rooms had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Easy access to Munich for Octoberfest.
Review 95:We so enjoyed staying at your bed and breakfast....wonderful staff! ...the breakfast was simply amazing in such a delightful, homey, fresh atmosphere. ThankYou for your hospitality. The Baghdassarians
Review 96:The staff were excellent, very friendly & bent over backwards tohelp. For example we had a bundle of clothes that needed washing, sothey arranged for them to be cleaned and folded on return in one dayand for 10 Euro'S. Breakfast was super, and the room, very largeand very comfortable with free Internet. The beds were verycomfortable. The price of stay was relative cheap, and location wasexcellent, just at the base of Dachau Schloss hill. Everything wasvirtually within walking distance.
Review 97:Not much to walk to from the hotel. The main courtyard doubles as a cafe, so the ground floor rooms lack a little in the privacy department. No parking on site but the street parking is just fine.
Review 98:The rooms in the main building are quite nice, very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was quite good.
Review 99:A similar hotel named "Gästehaus DAH-Inn" nearby, which maycreate some difficulties for first travelers. My recommendation is tofollow the address instead of name.
Review 100:1. The room is very large comparing with other resorts nearby.2. Close to Dachau station but far enough to avoid noise.
Review 101:The lift did not work properly and my husband was stuck in it for a longtime. When staff rescued him, they were very apologetic!
Review 102:Room was refreshing - a fresh orchid on the windowsill! Breakfast wasgood - fresh scrambled eggs with cream! The GastHaus down the street wasa fun corner spot for supper ~ English menu, friendly & neighborhood-like atmosphere.
Review 103:1.Thought that i book the hotel. Then in reality I was in a guesthouse - 150 m by feet away. 2. I booked with Amex card and then the hotel does not want it - although i saw the Amex sign on the computer cash screen.
Review 104:Breakfast was ok Breakfast personal was the only friendly ones.
Review 105:Room was clean however we had ants crawling in on the desk which made us wonder if there were other insects inside the room.
Review 106:Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but not a large varity.
Review 107:Our room had windows to the floor and was right on main road, which made you feel quite exposed unless the curtains were drawn.
Review 108:Room was very modern and clean. Breakfast was very good.
Review 109:The room was very small.
Review 110:Hotel was well situated for the Dachau memorial. Good choice ofrestaurants close by. Staying in the annex was nice & quiet.
Review 111:There is no secure parking but we had no problem parking in the streetat no cost.
Review 112:We chose the dah Inn as it was conveniently situated and after readingother reviews. Our room in the courtyard was very roomy and comfortableand we were given a warm and friendly welcome. We ate at the associatedrestaurant Drei Rosen which served tasty local food. We had fresh eggscooked for our breakfast which was lovely.
Review 113:The room was a little cramped-- minimal space to move around the bed, or to put luggage.
Review 114:The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the room is bright and clean. It is quiet and or room opened on to a nice little garden terrace. It is close to the Schloß and easy walking distance to a good restaurant and a supermarket. A full breakfast was included, and it was very good.
Review 115:Parking is on the street. I did feel perfectly safe to park on thestreet over the weekend.
Review 116:Friendly, efficient staff. Helpful with directions and recommendations. The facility was comfortable, clean, and conviently located.
Review 117:I was in the external building 100m further away. The room was just nextto the entrance so there were noices from other guests entering thebuilding and street traffic. Also flushing toilets from the upper floorswere a bit noisy.
Review 118:Friendly staff, central location, nice room.
