This hotel is located in a wonderfully tranquil but convenient location, in a quiet side street in the center of Dinkelsbühl.
Come and stay in this unique and beautiful timber-framed hotel.
This heritage-listed building was a traditional barn, which was then renovated to become a picture-perfect hotel, preserving a natural sense of rural charm. After having been used as a retreat for artists since the end of the 19th century, the hotel now features its own art school in the restaurant section of the hotel.

Reviews for Flair Hotel Weisses Ross

Review 1:If you have trouble with stairs, the flights up to our room would have been difficult

Review 2:Our garret room was charming, breakfast was varied and generous, and personnel were pleasant and gracious

Review 3:Nothing

Review 4:This hotel was right in the middle of the historical old section of the town. Our room was very comfortable and it had a real " old German" feel. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant in the hotel had good food at a reasonable price!

Review 5:It was a little tricky to find.

Review 6:The room was clean & comfortable and the hotel was in a good position. The breakfast was good & we had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Review 7:I can not find anything negative to say. We loved this hotel and the entire town.

Review 8:Proprietor is charming, enthusiastic, and proud of his hotel. We liked him and the hotel so much that we extended our planned one night stay into two. It is rated as one of the very top historical hotels by the German Culture MInistry. One of the walls is from the original city wall, that was replaced in the 1300's by the walls that stand today around the city. There is a small public parking lot outside the door, but additional parking is plentiful around the city. Pleasant room, large, with comfortable beds. The German style breakfast was great, with lots of choices, and the breakfast room was filled with ceramic bread bowls, colorful cloth table runners, etc. I wanted to take the entire breakfast room home with me. Staff is very friendly and fluent in English.

Review 9:The lady who we think was the owner was rather abrupt on arrival and departure but I think that is just her manner and it did not take away from our enjoyment. Ps we don't speak any German and got by.

Review 10:We stayed in house opposite hotel. Very comfortable spacious room and bathroom. Very enjoyable reasonably priced dinner served in authentic old dining room. Cycle friendly- stored our bike in garage

Review 11:No adverse comments to offer

Review 12:Staff very friendly Restaurant meals and experience great We were fortunate by coincidence to arrive on day of town 'stadtfest'. Room and en-suite roomy, well fitted out and very clean

Review 13:Staff too `busy` to show us to the room......didn`t advise on the restaurant or the night watchman.....we ate elsewhere as a result !

Review 14:Central location, large room , robes in the wardrobe, apples sweets and water in the room. Breakfast very good

Review 15:You can only park in the local streets up to 10am and the nearest car parks outside the town walls involve a steep climb. I suggest you arrive early and leave early if you stay here.

Review 16:Perfect location inside the historic town but tucked away in a side street.

Review 17:It was noisy because you can hear voices of next doors, and walking of the floor.

Review 18:It was a pretty old German-style hotel and it had nice characters.

Review 19:Kind personnel

Review 20:Poor welcome. Owners did not have time for us on arrival or departure. Meal in the evening was poor

Review 21:The room itself was fine and across the road

Review 22:Town, history, walk around the wall, food, decoration of the hotel and the restaurant, church, old houses, the services in the hotel.

Review 23:WiFi poor

Review 24:Central location,excellent breakfast

Review 25:Quiet, but near the center. Quaint, half timbered house. Nice breakfast.

Review 26:The curtains could be a bit thicker the street lights kept me awake

Review 27:Clean and comfortable the staff were helpful

Review 28:Room was a little hot.

Review 29:Brilliant location. In a beautiful town.

Review 30:one of the staff is racism.

Review 31:good service.nice breakfast.great romm. facilites are very good and the location is nice too.

Review 32:Enjoyed a fantastic week at the hotel. The owners are wonderfully welcoming, and do everything they can to help. The room was large, well furnished, and very clean. Buffet breakfasts were good, and the restaurant serves excellent local cuisine. The location is perfect, about 2 minute's walk to the centre, but in a beautiful and quiet setting. Without doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in, very highly recommended. Hope to stay there again one day. P.S. the hotel cat is also very friendly!!!

Review 33:Room was hot and did not cool down overnight. Left one day early mainly because of this. The food in their restaurant was on the poor side of homely. Only ate there once.

Review 34:Location for central Dinkelsbuhl is very good.

Review 35:you could hear the noise from other rooms/street. As it was an old buiding, there was no soundproofing rooms. The breakfast room was quite small. None of these interfered in how much we enjoyed the place, though.

Review 36:Fantastic location right in the middle of this very nice ancient town. The building was very old and that gave the rooms a special atmosphere. Large bedroom, large bathroom, comfortable and huge beds, everything super clean. Good breakfast. Internet worked surprisingly well (it´s a medieval town after all!). Would like to have stayed longer.

Review 37:We could hear a soft sound sometimes at night, it probably was the ventilator in the adjoining room.

Review 38:very nice rooms, our little girl was also very welcome and had a nice stay! Good service, the beds were very nice, the breakfast was delicious. The surroundings wonderful. In short: this was a pleasant surprise!

Review 39:Bathroom items are rather old and dirty. Breakfast until 10am but by 9.30 all the food were gone :(

Review 40:Rather spacious room. Parking (pay) is nearby. Lots of lovely and homy decorations

Review 41:Wifi available for short time. I don't think they are used to English speaking guests.

Review 42:Comfortable room very close to the center of town. Excellent breakfast. Some parking available closeby.

Review 43:Nobody was at reception when we arrived. It took 20 minutes for an off-duty cleaner to find someone.

Review 44:Can't beat the rustic charm, although it did take a second to figure out how the bathroom door handle worked. Breakfast was tasty. Location in old town great. It's even a stop on the Night Watchman's Tour. Had secure bicycle parking

Review 45:A kettle in the room for tea and coffee would be a nice touch. Otherwise, a fabulous place and will visit Flair Hotel Weisses Ross again!

Review 46:Great location and quaint hotel! Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choices and eggs of your choice. Hotel is housed in 2 buildings. Parking is next to the hotel. Plenty of eating places within walking distance. English is readily spoken. 40 minutes from Rothenberg. Outdoor water activities near by. Apples on the nightstand and water in the room.

Review 47:Location was excellent, close enough to city centre but far enough to be a bit quieter. Lock up bike garage. We had breakfast and dinner and were very pleased with both. Mr Neuhauser helped us with bus bookings and a late checkout after the weather changed our plans.

Review 48:Being in a large room centrally located to everything. The family run hotel was so pleasant and that fact that we stayed in a hotel that was over 500 years old was a bonus. Could not recommend this more highly enough

Review 49:I was very grateful to the owners of Weisses Ross for allowing me to upgrade to a more spacious and comfortable room at the same price as the single room I had booked.

Review 50:Everything was excellent, except the orange juice in the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend to offer squeezed fresh juice. Then the hotel is excellent +.

Review 51:Mr Neuhauser is absolutely charming! He was so welcoming. The hotel is right in the middle of old town and close to many restaurants and shops. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The night watchman comes right to the hotel on his rounds and this was certainly a sight to see. The restaurant at the hotel serves outstanding local food and we really enjoyed our evening there.

Review 52:Somewhat noisy due to the street cafe in front of the hotel, but it ends around 9 pm.

Review 53:Very classic and comportable hotel located in the center of the city.

Review 54:This was such a quaint property. To stay in an old, renovated barn was truly a wonderful experience. The proprieter is delightful and we loved the beautiful breakfast. Dinner was fantastic and the outside seating was perfect. We will definintely be back!
