Review 9：Nice little balcony but it was directly facing the neighboring building so not much view. Jacuzzi was broken so no chance to get the benefit but sauna worked well.

Review 10：I liked the large room I had with a great bath in the bathroom, good bed and nice sitting chair. Breakfast was quite decent. Wifi was good easily allowing me to have computer, iPad and iPhone all using it. Able to stream Netflix.

Review 11：Bad Toelz is not a lively place, however with a car is quite close to touristic sites in Bavaria.

Review 12：Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful and tasty. The facilities are very clean. Our room was extremely comfortable and the pool/whirlpool/sauna facility upgraded the stay completely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel.

Review 14：Nice large rooms with sofas, inside facilities of pool and sauna excellent. Staff friendly and short walk into Bad Tolz, located on road with little through traffic. Lovely breakfast included, would happily stay again.

Review 15：Very helpful staff guided us to downtown Bad Tolz for supper where we had excellent meal. That plus the wonderful breakfast led us to vote this our best hotel and best city to visit for our whole trip. They even had an elevator and decent parking.

Review 18：Heating was on in bedrooms in june , we asked if it could be turned off and were told it could never be turned off. The next day it got turned off! The rooms are incredibly warm and really need air conditioning , cant sleep with windows open due to mosquito bites. A hotel in Bavaria of this standard needs aircon . Jurgen, please read your emails as I sent you 2 asking for garage space and you never answered them.

Review 41：Very close to Alpamare and an easy walk to the Altstadt. I love the infrarotkabines in the Alpenhof spa space. Staff was quite friendly. Breakfast was extensive and varied. The in-floor heating is very nice. The "double room w balcony" was really an efficiency apartment, with kitchen corner and semi-separate living area. Excellent accommodation, I'd stay again.

Review 44：Guest house run by a lovely couple. All the amenities of a four star hotel in my opinion, makes me wonder why it isn't. Good breakfast and it's location is perfect for visiting Munich or Southern Bavaria.

Review 45：We booked this hotel to attend a wedding some months ago, but it seems we were given the last room in the hotel (room 3), which was also the worst room. It is at street level near the entrance to the hotel, so very noisy. Other guests sat right outside our window, chatting. We could not open the curtains because they were right there! I'd suggest the hotel not use this room or give those having to stay there a huge discount. There was no ventilation -- could not open the windows because other guests were right outside. The hotel did give us a fan.

Review 46：It is a family-run hotel, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are comfortable, not luxurious, but clean. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

Review 47：Too expensive and did not get vaue for money. When we booked, we wanted a double room with extra bed for our 3.5 years old son. The options were not available and we just updated our details, i.e. 1 couplle and 1 child. we finally got a booking for a triple room at Euros 150.which was not really required. Either there is not facility on the web site to book 1 double plus extra bed or the hotel does not offer any but charge for a triple. The hotel does not have AC so avoid to stay there in summer as the room are hot and stuffy.

Review 49：My three teenage grand children, girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful stay. The children especially enjoyed the lovely pool. It was convenient and central to our day destinations of München, Dachau and Neu Schwanstein. The breakfasts were delicious and offered a great selection for all of our tastes.

Review 53：Great location (near Alpamare Therme), quiet and comfort (elevator, spacious rooms with balconies, plumbing in good condition, comfortable temperature, impeccable cleanliness, refrigerator, kitchenette, etc). In the basement of the hotel can enjoy free sauna rooms, Jacuzzi and a swimming pool with heated water and water jets.The breakfast is varied, fresh and is served in a spacious room, where everything (plates, cutlery, glasses, tablecloths ) shines clean. Construction and development of hotel (rooms, corridors, dining room) are rustic and very tastefully and you can enjoy the paintings on the walls and the pool frescoes. Last but not least I want to mention the host's kindness and constant care to be useful and to ensure that guests are well informed and satisfied with the accommodation.

The rooms are beautifully furnished and very spacious. Free parking, bus passes, wi-fi, a lovely swimming pool, convenient location and attention to individual needs have made the Hotel Alpenhof and Bad Tolz very special for us. We'll be back.

Review 59：I would struggle to find fault with anything at this charming alpine style hotel in the lovely spa town of Bad Tolz. We had had a terrible experience the previous night in Fussen (we were on a road trip) when our hotel burned down in the middle of the night, and we arrived at Hotel Alpenhof exhausted, stressed, and with all of our possessions filthy dirty and smelling of smoke. The Hotel staff made every effort to help us, washing our clothes and making us welcome. The basement pool and spa helped to relieve the stress, and by the end of our stay, we were back in holiday mode and ready to go on. Fantastic breakfasts too.
