Review 1：Dinner at the restaurant was very average - could have done better elsewhere.
Review 2：Perfect location, great staff, super clean and spacious room, and the breakfast was excellent..
Review 3：1. The WIFI connection is not good; 2. It would be better if the hotel could provide a kettle and some tea or coffee in the room during winter.
Review 4：1. The location of the hotel is very good, from the window of the hotel room, we can see the scenery of the river; 2. The breakfast provided by the hotel is quite nice; 3. The owner of the hotel is very kind to allow me to park my car in front of the hotel.
Review 5：Parking was not available at the hotel, so we had to walk a bit, but the gentleman at reception told us about the cheaper parking lot. The windows kept out the street noise, but we heard a quite a bit of noise from other rooms.

Review 7：We were given rooms on the first floor which had good views but nothing as good as the ones on the third or fourth floor. There was no hot water for showering on the last day of our stay but as the staff had promised, the issue was fixed within the hour.
Review 8：The view from the hotel room was absolutely fantastic. The windows are soundproof so you don't hear the traffic noise at all. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The staff are really nice and friendly, always willing to guide and help.
Review 9：Only complaint was the confusing layout - reception is on the same floor as the restaurant (3rd floor) and was hard to find (you have to walk through restaurant).

Review 11：Reception desk is in the middle of the crowded restaurant and guests need to walk through the restaurant to get to their rooms. Our room (203) smelled like dirty socks after the Febreeze wore off.

Review 17：Minor disappointment only: we were the unlucky to get the view of the church wall couple meters away, but hey, the room is for sleeping only anyway. Wifi got always disconnected, but at least we cared for each other. So no worries.
Review 18：Both dinner and breakfast was excellent. There is no better way to start your day then a nice breakfast on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Danube. We've tried 2 dishes for dinner both of them was fantastic! Service was always very kind and efficient. You can not say this for other places. We had huge disappointment in other place so dont look further, this place is perfect! Unlike those big hotel chains who only care for their spoiled, but still never satisfied platinum and gold members, here every guest is treated the same!
Review 19：I did not appreciate staff having loud conversations about work, co workers, schedule few meters away from guest trying to quietly eat breakfast at 7am. I believe staff should not discuss those things when guest can hear them not mentioning some quiet time in the morning would be nice. No bottled water in the room, small shower.

Review 23：They advertised private parking at 10 euro a day with need to reserve aspace - we did that, but the staff knew nothing about private parkingwhen we checked in never mind our reservation for a space. This was acrucial point to our booking. We did achieve it, discovering on the waythat the three single garages the hotel had , and presumably intendedfor guests' private parking,were used by staff and for storage.

Review 44：The position in the old town and on the bank of the Danube is perfect. It is a short walk to the main shopping area and a little further to the hauptbahnhoff but still an easy 15min walk. Passau is a beautiful little town, make sure you walk out to the point.
Review 45：Although two rooms were booked for four of us, hotel has provided rooms on two diffeent floors. Hotel does not have a secured parking, but they were very friendly to offer their garage to us for which we are very gratefull.

Review 48：Hotel is probably the best hotel in Passau. City is really charming and the hotel is in district of it. We got a room on 4th floor and it is really comfortable, bed is very comfortable and it is very big. It is peaceful and nice. TV is very good, everything in working order, bathroom spacious and room is clean. Breakfast is the best we had on our journey in Germany - food is delicious and they even have pork and salmon for breakfast, large choice of breads and fruits and it is really good (included in price). Stuff is very helpful and gentle, they gave us useful informations and we got a really warm welcome. Recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone - it is good for families with small kids, good for families with older kids - really nice hotel. We stayed in here for two times and definitely gonna come back .

Review 55：We spent a night here on our way to Budapest. It is a beautiful hotel, centrally located in Passau. The staff was wonderful, and the restaurant was very good as well. They went above and beyond...my daughter loved her meal and wanted to eat the rest for breakfast, but we didn't have a refrigerator in our room. They packed up her food and put it in the refrigerator in their kitchen overnight and then reheated them for her the next morning. Amazing service!!
Review 56：Parking was not so straight forward. Can park for 30 mins for free atthe rear entrance on Untere Donaülände. But after that it was public carparks which are not far away. One is free but was already full when wearrived. In the hotel details on Booking.com it states that the hotelhas it's own private parking. I did enquire about this a few daysbefore arrival but the response was to use public parking. I'm notsure if the hotel actually has it's own parking. If it does, it isprobably very limited.

Review 67：The rooms are very basic, which is fine, but for the price I wouldn'thave thought they would be a little nicer. I don't mind them being kindof spare and plain, but it didn't seem to match the caliber of therestaurant and overall feel of the hotel to me, in some ways. Not reallycomplaining.... Just would have thought the cost would have been lessconsidering the feel of the rooms.
Review 68：The two side of the hotel offer connection either to the Danube or tothe old streets of Passau and both are appealing in their own way. Therestaurant is great and the garden right next to it creates a very niceambience. The wait staff was friendly and my young kids loved the dog atreception, whose nickname is Bidey. We also arrived very late and theyleft a key for us, which was essential, and provided a breakfast eventhough we came down after breakfast was officially closed.
Review 69：By asking Tom-Tom to find a parking space it proposed one at the castleonly 600 meters away. This was free, but something like 250 meters abovethe river giving us a nice walk in the morning to collect the car.
Review 70：The hotel has a very nice location in the old city of Passau. Itsentrance is on third floor from the town side and in the basement fromthe river side. We arrived by car and could park for 1/2 hour outsidethe basement to unload the car. For the rest of the parking time we hadto rely on public places not easily available. The staff was polite andthe breakfast very good. The restaurant at third floor was open in theevening and obviously very popular also for locals. The rooms facedtowards Donau, but the noise from the river and street was moderate. Thest. Stefan church is beautiful.
