Review 4：Excellent location for strolling to the centre of Bad Tolz and the riverside where there are plenty of restaurants. The hotel is an attractive building and the hostess could not have been nicer or more charming. Beer available at shop prices at an honesty bar. Good breakfast. Car parking in the hotel grounds.
Review 5：The hotel was a little bit away from the city center, but not more than 5-10 minutes walk. I also wish that some of the staff talked a bit more English.

Review 19：The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. We arrived very late at night but everything was arranged perfectly. Especially enjoyed the super matresses. Very comfy bed after a long car ride. Breakfast was typically Bavarian with yummie sausage, bread and pretzels. Oh ja, and free wifi with terrific speed. All good :)
Review 20：The Hotel-Pension Marienhof offered tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms that were clean and quiet. The buffet breakfast was well provisioned and always got the day off to a good start. The hotel staff/owners were very helpful in providing all the necessary information regarding the local ski area as well as the schedules of public transportation. For both value and comfort I would definitely recommend a stay at the Hotel-Pension Marienhof.
Review 21：No staff on premises on our early afternnon arrival - first time we saw staff was at breakfast next day. En suite facilities were tiny with the meanest shampoo and soap ever seen. Almost no Guest Iinformation in English but was available in German in typescript. which was hard to read in the poorly lit room. The free WiFi was initially unavailable as details not included in Guest Information folder but a small slip of paper with log-on details was eventually found. Bed was not very comfortable but a second duvet requested helped for second night. The hotel was certainly not value for money. Price offerings on brochure at reception desk and on banner outside was substantially lower (under 50% of what we paid).
