Reviews for Parkhotel del Mar

Review 1:For me the bed was too soft. As a matter of fact, it was probably the softest bed I've ever slept on. Sauna is not included in the price, it is 10 e per person and you have to call/say 30 minutes in advance if you want to use it. This time is not enough for the Turkish sauna to get warm enough. The stone bench was really cold and we could not stay there, so we could use only normal sauna.

Review 2:The way from the railway station to the hotel takes around 15 minutes, there is also a bus stop almost at the front door, where you can catch the bus to railway station, Königsstuhl or some other towns of Rügen. The walk to the sea takes around 5-7 minutes. The late check-in is very simple, if you report in advance, that you arrive later then 18-00. then you just find your key in an envelope on the reception door. The room was spacious enough, not too bright, because the window opens to the narrow street between two houses, so the view is also not satisfying. The breakfast room is nicely decorated in marine style with some sweet little details, stuff is very polite and friendly. The choice of the dishes was OK, nothing surprising or overwhelming, but you can have a decent filling breakfast there.

Review 3:Noisy room, every sound could be heard from overhead room and traffic outside. Cheap interieur and lousy pillows. On arrival we had to pay "special" tax, the discount card we received for this was useless. Extra charge for parking (on hotel grounds) adding to the price of our stay. No tea maker in the room, instead water again with extra charge. At breakfast we got rude responce on some very simple questions. The hostess suspected we were making a lunchpack (so what if we were?) and was harassing us throughout the breakfast.

Review 4:Not much.

Review 5:We had requested an early check-in, around 1:00, but the reception did not open until 2:00. However, we probably could have realized that ahead of time.

Review 6:The room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and varied. Staff was very friendly, with limited English. Location is good for access to the chalk cliffs.

Review 7:nothing

Review 8:everything, especially Ganesha statue between the base floor and first floor The elevator at the back side of the door The photo taken for booking.com is really masterpiece - it seems that the house's location is in an old park :-)

Review 9:Nice clean rooms and excellent service. We arrived late in the evening and the reception was closed. Therefore I have asked for the password for wifi. I got a mail where the kind staff told me how to get in to our room. We followed the instructions and we got in to our room and there the password waiting for us in the room. Really a great hotel and staff!

Review 15:Zero

Review 16:The comfort , cleanliness , value, and breakfast

Review 17:Breakfast buffet could be better.

Review 18:Very friendly staff.

Review 19:The Internet is very bad. On the first floor I could connect the net but the speed was too low to search the time table for the public traffic on the Rugen. On the third floor the net is completely of no use. I asked the staff for help but she just told me everything went well and didn't know why.

Review 20:almost ok

Review 21:Nothing at all. Rien. Nichts!!

Review 22:It is the best hotel I have seen for the price. But the service - it´sreally extraordinary. We went there because it fits very well in withthe Sassnitz-ferry to Sweden. But for whatever reason we will enjoy tostay there.

Review 23:No proper working internet. The "suite" is more like a large double room. Very poor quality pillows. Missing a fulltime reception and also a public area with seating. Television - only German channels.

Review 24:Good breakfast. The breakfast restaurant. Why don't you use it for lunches and dinners too? The very pleasant staff. The "well being" facilities. Good parking.

Review 25:The hotel staff does not speak English (or does not want to speak English). We asked for a room with a double bed in our booking but got two separate beds instead. he hotel is extremely overpriced compared to other hotels in Sassnitz. It is OK to sleep over but is not really of value for money.

Review 26:The breakfast was OK but considering the price of the room per night we shall choose Kurhotel Sassnitz next time, which has English speaking reception, offers much more comfort, more beautiful room views and richer breakfast for less money.

Review 27:Nothing

Spa had very clean coedshowers, sauna & steam room with robes, towels & slippersprovided all for only 10 $eu. Nice relax room with lemon water.Breakfast was great.
