Reviews for Hotel Fuchs
Review 1:The location is fantastic. The room was lovely. Great system for receiving your room key on a weekend. The hotel pays part of your parking fee. Breakfast was very good. Loved our stay and we would stay again and recommend to others.
Review 2:So far so good ;)
Review 3:The location is couldn't be better. The staffs are very friendly. Even though they have prepared the early breakfast for us up on our early request. Thank you guys
Review 4:Needs better description of how to find it as it is in the pedestrianarea; we followed the link from booking.com and drove round and round.Should mention that one must park first in the parking house and thencarry on on foot.
Review 5:Clean, very friendly and great location, good value, generous breakfast;will stay again when in the area
Review 6:A little noisy up to 1 or 2am on Friday and Saturday night due to pub activity in the square.
Review 7:This hotel is in the heart of the square and centrallty located to a lot of things to see and do. We had a great time!
Review 8:Breakfast was very disappointing. No elevators. Had to carry large bags up and down.
Review 9:Location. Close to tram, bus, train stations. Lots of restaurants and eating options around. Good wifi.
Review 10:After hours, there is no reception and one has to get a key from a strongbox at the back of the hotel. Not hard, but confusing first time. There is no elevator, so large suitcases might be cumbersome. The breakfast could have been better.
Review 11:The hotel is right in the old center, the shopping street is around the corner, parking is around another corner. Hotel is well renovated, all inside is new and clean, very comfortable bed, very well isolated from the noise of the city streets. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Review 12:You cannot sell hotelrooms in this area. The noise till 2 O Clock in the night is not normal. Bars outside and in the house with shouting people and loud music. Very early in the morning , 6 O Clock, they are going to clean up and move all the tables and chairs, so you can count how many hours you can sleep. The price is also to high. We never come back here again!!!!
Review 13:We were at Hotel Fuchs with 2 very small kids (both <2) and though the apartment was to be reached by 3 (partly) very steep stairs our arrival and departure was hassle free due to the very courteous and helpful staff. The hotel is perfectly located in a more quite side street of the pedestrian area, pretty calm for the area but still within a few steps of dozens of restaurants. Due to its two rooms the apartment is perfect for parents with kids, though the stairs and furniture require some extra attention.
Review 14:A small hotel with a great character, central location and really good service. Highly recommended!
Review 15:key entry system needs to explained on booking
Review 16:location very good rooms clean and large

Review 19:Very limited facilities. Only one pillow on my bed.
Review 20:Friendly staff. Great location.
Review 21:Need detailed street map if following uk bases sta nav
Review 22:Very friendly staff who waited up for us despite late arrival
Review 23:Having to pay to park the car in Q park, better directions needed to find the hotel. No A/C
Review 24:Very good location for everything
Review 25:Spacious and clean room, nice breakfast.
Review 26:No input
Review 27:Originiality and comfort of the hotelroom, breakfast and location in middle of the city

Review 30:The wifi isn't working
Review 31:Good breakfast and quiet big rooms
Review 32:Nothing
Review 33:Very helpful staff
Review 34:nothing
Review 35:Location, central, parking, staff, flexibility and caffe
Review 36:Shabby looking in the rooms wouldn't stay again, more like a bar trying to be a hotel
Review 37:Breakfast service really good and nice area to sit
Review 38:Noting
Review 39:Nice location
Review 40:Noise street in front of my room. In summer it is very noise in the street due to the many bars & restaurants.
Review 41:Breakfast
Review 42:was town festival and very load no aircon capuccino for breakfast costed extra
Review 43:nice people good atmosphere
Review 44:Hard to reach by taxi. It is in a small side street and the taxi will drop you off at the corner. No biggie though.
Review 45:Location, staff.
Review 46:Difficult to find by car. Many one way streets in the area.
Review 47:Small hotel (only seven rooms) in the middle of town. Close to market place and lots of shops and bars and restaurants. Also close to river and tourist attractions. No cars - only pedestrian access. Wonderful buffet breakfast in comfy breakfast room.
Review 48:There were no wash cloths, no radio or alarm clock. I guess this is typical in Europe? The bathroom and room were really small but again I guess that is normal in Europe. I don't know how anyone could stand the heat in the middle of summer with no AC. It was fine while I was there but I could see how it would be an issue later in the summer.
Review 49:It was close to the center of Saarbrucken and the train station. The breakfast was good.
Review 50:I hope the fact that there is no elevator was mentioned on the description. It was a lot of stairs to drag me heavy bag.
Review 51:Location couldn't be better. Some nearby pub might bother somebody, but not me. Fairly big room. Good German breakfast.
Review 52:There's a nightclub in the hotel bar on Saturday nights and it's very noisy till late. Location great for young couples but not ideal for young kids. Some of the rooms are a little bit dated.
Review 53:Nice boutique hotel. Great location. The loft apartment on the top floor is very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good wifi
Review 54:Wish there were coffee making facilities and a bit more seating options in the room
Review 55:Nice clean place in great location. Very kind staff. Good breakfast.
Review 56:The parking in the multi storey car park is very expensive. No kettle in the room so that you have to buy a hot drink in the bar downstairs. Despite the Christmas market being open the bed still had a summer blanket and no wool blanket in the cupboard.
Review 57:Large room and comfortable bed. Very stylish and modern. Excellent location in the old town with plenty of restaurants and bars as well as the main shopping street virtually on your doorstep. Excellent breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
Review 58:None
Review 59:I stayed in the suite, located on the top floor. Very nice setup andthe balcony over looks the Belgium beer bar Templier's acrossthe street.Hotel is centrally located in Saarbrucken to the market area. The live music is nice in the evenings. Hotel staff where great in calling a taxi for me. Breakfast in the morning is very nice.
Review 60:The location was fantastic! We loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed walking about the beautiful town. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the staff was attentive, gracious and professional.
Review 61:Club 2020, operating out of the hotel bar on Saturdays from 8:20pm until late had house beats pounding away, reverberating through the rooms. In addition that same morning we were awoken Germanically early by a brass band playing fanfares on every corner of the town centre.
Review 62:In general the hotel was very nice, well-staffed and friendly, and right on the market square but...
Review 63:On both evenings there were parties going on till the early morningright outside the room in which we were staying, with small children. These parties were organized by the hotel itself. The owners of thehotel need to decide if they want to be a hotel or a party venue. Both at the same time is difficult to combine. Other than that thehotel is nice.
Review 64:The bathroom door was frosted glass which was a little odd. There was some noise from the bars and restaurants nearby. Once they had closed, however, the area was very quiet.
Review 65:Both members of staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel is in a pedestrian area, but the recommended car park was only a two minute walk away.
Review 66:The lady on reception was most helpful and friendly, Elanna I think shewas called. Hotel fox could not have been more central and the Irish bar2 doors away was a added bonus.
Review 67:The weather was very hot and there was no air conditioning. The busy pedestrian street was noisy and full of smokers at night so I could not leave the windows open.
Review 68:Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. There were many nice touches such as bottled water in the room. The breakfast buffet was generous and fresh. The hotel is centrally located.
Review 69:You need to go 5 minutes from parkinghouse to the hotel. You can hear "everything" from other rooms and from the street.
Review 70:Reception closed on sunday. But we recived by email a guide to entre the hotel. Very close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Nice location in the city.
Review 71:When we stayed there it was the Old Town Festival - that was just great- but the hotel had a Club Party in their rear courtyard which went onuntil the early hours of the morning, the music and bass beat keeping usawake. The hotel told Booking.com about this but they did not pass onthat information to us at booking. At other times this would not be aproblem. The hotel moved us to another hotel a bit further away from thecentre which was also good.
Review 72:The location was ideal for both the old town and the larger city. Withineasy walking distance of the station (10 mins). Lots of lovely eatingplaces in same street and nearby. Can walk to Castle as well.
Review 73:Was slightly noisy outside-world cup, what else to expect!
Review 74:Friendly staff, good location, fresh breakfast. Will stay there again
Review 75:Top quality,modern deccor.
Review 76:Great Atmosphere in the middle of the old town....
Review 77:Bedrieglijke eenvoud. Midden in centrum.
Review 78:Nothing.
Review 79:Staff were excellent. Hotel was well located and facilities excellent.
