Reviews for Hotel U Černého orla

Review 1:It was rather cold in the room. Breakfast was just ok.. the cereal was kind of stale, and it would be nice to have a toaster for the breads and to have the pancakes warmed up.

Review 2:Tomas the staff member was REALLY nice and accommodating. He was super kind and friendly. The location is perfect.

Review 3:In spite of some control of foreign languages, English and German, the crew was not willing to talk anything but Czech. We got by though. This seems generally to be customary among (middle-aged or older) Czech people, but the young people are more willing to talk in foreign languages. The crew was otherwise OK: helpful and nice etc. Having to check in until 6 pm is also suboptimal.

Review 4:Very well located.

Review 5:Hotel restaurant was quite strange, we came in, nobody was there, not just customers, but really nobody, so we waited and then left. That restaurant was full of cigarette smell and that is not place where u want to spend afternoon. When they cleaned the room, they forgot to clean the toliet...

Review 6:Great location of this hotel is the super value. You are at the historical square, which made Telč famous. Building itself is very nice with old charm and it is really nice to sleep in house like that on such a wonderfull square

Review 7:water not hot enough to take a shower; the heat very low and it was very cold the entire time. I told the very sweet young girl who seemed to be running the place, and she couldn't help me. There just isn't much heat or hot water in the hotel, so there wasn't anything she could do. Normally, I wouldn't have cared, but we had made a reservation for a cheaper room (with a shared bath) and were talked into the higher rate to have our own shower, which we wound up not using at all, since the water never got hot enough to take a shower in. Not worth the price.

Review 8:location, staff tried their best

Review 9:We were happy with our visit

Review 10:The staff was kind, rooms and breakfast were good. The hotel is located in the main square although it was still quiet in the night.

Review 11:Price is a little high And you should make Shure that you booked a room with bathroom and toilet inside!! Because there are rooms in this hotel without.

Review 12:I came to Telč to see the folk festival, windows of my room were just in front of the main square so for me it was good cod' I could listen to the music just from my room:) it is not ok for those who is looking for relaxation. This hotel is situated in real center of main square in Telč,it is the only place where in the evening there are a lot of people. Breakfasts were very tasty :)

Review 13:need renovation, not so clean bathroom, rooms next to the ball hall so they were too loud.

Review 14:Just at the UNESCO main square

Review 25:Very nice hotel right on the square. Spacious halls, very clean rooms, extremely comfy beds.

Review 26:Poor breakfast, no courtesy set (only a small bar of soap and a 2 ml shampoo for entire week), nobody cleaned the room during the stay.

Review 27:Looking out onto the main street of a beautiful village

Review 28:The staff were excellent. When we arrived the room was still being warmed and upon seeing that we had a baby with us the gentleman quickly brought us an extra heater with no prompting at all. Our meals in the restaurant were great and the location on the town square is excellent.
