Review 4：Very good choice for traveling by car. Located in a quiet place in the Black Forest area, away from town and tourists. Friendly staff telling us where to get the famous Black Forest cake, though we didn't meet the correct occasion for such cake.

Review 8：Comfortable room with large balcony. Nice indoor pool leads straight onto large garden with loungers. Was pleased to find a small fridge in the room.

Review 9：Disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the Sunday night. We had booked specifically because of the restaurant as we wanted as easy an evening as possible given the long day on a motorcycle. There were alternatives off site though.

Review 19：A lovely, peaceful location just outside Freudenstadt. Plenty of parking at the front of the hotel. Very warm welcome and the room was fantastic. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was plentiful and delicious as well as amazing value for money. This is definitely somewhere we will return, maybe to do some walking next time rather than just as a stopover.

Review 52：There is nothing I can fault about this hotel, everything about is was excellent, they even catered for me as I am lactose intolerant, they provided lactose free milk, butter and cheese. Car parking was good as was the evening meal they provided for very little cost. We walked to Freudenstadt as it was only 3.5km

The bright rooms mentioned in other reviewshad double the windows and a large balcony that faced southwest. Requestone of these rooms if you plan to stay here. Also, the hotel is quitefar from Freudenstadt.

Review 56：The ladies who manage the hotel were very nice and spoke some English.The room was spacious, comfortable and had an english speaking tvChannel (cnn). Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner theevening of our stay and the two other restaurants in the small town wereempty and overpriced so we had to drive to another town for dinner.Breakfast was excellent and the coffee was the best we had in 3 weeks oftravelling through Europe. We assume the evening meal would have beenequally as good.
