Review 1：It was perfect!

Review 2：This is the only hotel in the world that we will always remember with love, for it welcomed us in the best of the ways. Welcoming hosts, great room, amazing views, nice music, great breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

Review 3：Might be too quiet, as this guesthouse is situated in the small village among other residential houses. Can only be reached by car.

Review 4：The stuff was super friendly as well as food (we took half pension). Especially breakfast was just great. A lot of people living nearby came to eat there. The prices on the menu are very low compared to Monschau town which is 3 km away. The room was small but cosy and just enough for our 2-night stay.

Review 5：We'd booked 3 rooms together and one couple's room was in another building 150m or so up the road. The hotel only takes cash, no credit card facility, which Booking.com didn't inform us about which then made us very short of cash for rest of trip.

Review 7：We were offered a self catering apartment 150 metres from the hotel, with all usual hotel facilities included. It was in such a peaceful location, with balcony and garden, and had its own wifi. The home-made jam with breakfast was lovely, as was the rest of the breakfast spread. The staff were very efficient and friendly, and the the hotel was small and cosy, with excellent food.

Review 9：I have spent 40 years travelling and staying in hotels all over the world. This Gasthof deserves a place near the top. A friendly welcome from the owner and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast had to be seen to be believed! Excellent dinners on all three evenings and a happy friendly relaxed staff

Review 12：No soap of any description. We bought some in Lidl. On booking we were told that there would be mineral water but the only sign of any was an empty bottle in a crate by the door. The staff could not give me password for Wifi as it was the boss's night off. A lot of flies in the apartment and no fly killer.

Review 13：We were told that they had a plumbing problem and that we were to be put into an apartment 200metres away. It was a very nice large apartment but it was in fact 700 metres away. Food in restaurant good and excellent breakfast apart from undercooked egg ( a lot of the white was still uncooked)

Review 14：Price-quality ratio. Good breakfast, comfortable beds. Very quiet. Off beaten track, about 4 km from downtown Monschau. Kind staff. Good for families with children - there is a small playground on the premises.

Excellent breakfast and a good evening meal in the tastefully decorated restaurant. Situated only 5 minutes drive away from the delightful town of Monschau.

Review 36：A beautiful quiet location with a pleasant terrace. Had the weather been poor the restaurant was very cosy. The owner was a delightful, friendly, jolly lady. The food was very substantial and breakfast was one of the best with regard to choice, quality and freshness I've had. Can't wait to stay again.

Review 40：No elevator and we had much luggage and were given the attic room up two long narrow stair cases. Very tough climb when tired on arrival. Attic room had no windows, just two skylights that opened on the roof which let in light but were no use for looking out of and very little use for ventilating the room.
