Reviews for Hotel am Rathaus

Review 1:Breakfast very sparse, not varied, not a lot of fruit or vegetables - the bare minimum. Left hungry. Room decor is early Holiday Inn from the 60s. Small bed, not a lot of room to put your luggage and belongings. Not a super good value for the money. Will try elsewhere next time.

Review 2:Convenient to the central business district and reasonably close (1 km) to the railway station.

Review 3:A short walk from the Bahnhof. Very near Deutches Haus for concerts. Right by the lovely old town, a pleasant walk through the town to the head of the fjord.

Review 4:quiet, well appointed room. helpful reception staff, even though it was nearly 9pm before we arrived.

Review 5:Comfort!

Review 6:The breakfast could be better e.g. a basket of fresh fruit would be a good idea.

Review 7:Great location and the staff were very helpful.

Review 8:Dark entrance leading into the resepcion. No places to sit down and enjoy yourselves. No coffee or tea facilities in the room. The breakfast room is okay, but the curtain were closed on one side of the room which made is feel fenced in. All in all not a very good stay althought the staff was friendly enough. Very old-fashioned.

Review 9:The lovely streed Rote Strasse just around the corner.

Review 10:The building is from the 60s or 70s - not sure - so many really tacky design elements cobbled together along with nylon curtains etc Sticking an old grandfather clock in the corner on the floor to the breakfast room is not going to subdue the sterile effect of the mid- century stairwell and the door handles, furniture. The hair dryer is from the early 1980s, but they have flat-screen TV and wi-fi

Review 11:Location close to old town, quiet despite being at the end of a busy shopping street in this small town.
