Review 1：Parking was o k. Undercover car park is free in the daytime but they charge for overnight parking there. Adjacent small outdoor car park. Large car park across the road - but couldn't figure out how to get into it.

Review 2：On the edge of town. Very near the French border. English speaking staff. Large rooms.Sky movies on the t v in English with German subtitles. Good food in the restaurant and excellent choice for breakfast.

Review 3：the food you can order by the room service is at an average (compared to the price a junior suite has). the friendly the staff was, the ungainly they were. i tried to get some medicine, but they were not able to run this errand (for instance by ordering a taxi, which i had to suggest). the spa area was very uncomfortable. i do not recommend to use the sauna. everything is very closely and they just had an old moldy "sauna infusion" and weren't even able to organize a new one at that day (2015-11-07 :)).

Lovely aspect to the rear with the lake et all. Free parking over the road and take no notice of the train noise, it's infrequent and hardly noticeable !

Review 12：Our room was on the side of the street and the trainline. The night we stayed there was very hot and due to the lack of air conditioning we had to have the window open.The noise of the passing trains does not allow a proper night's sleep.

Review 13：No a/c, and it was a hot night. We were on the street side of the hotel, so the open window was a little noisy with traffic until after midnite and picked up again at 0600h. If it wasn't hot, it would have been perfect! If it is hot, stay on the lake side.

Review 15：Very nice furnished historic building, excellent cuisine, very nice quiet rooms with view to the park. No issues with staying with our Rottweiler. Few minutes after entered the room, room service brought clean bowls with nice clean towels fow our dog. Great dinner and breakfast at the terrace with view on the lake in the garden. Especially enjoyed that garden (lake, ducks, gooses, ...).

Review 16：I had reserved 6 month in advance requesting a room with a bathtub. I also called the day before to make sure that this request was met and it was confirmed.To my surprise the room was with shower only. After advising the reception they simply advised that the Hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. It was 12:00 in the morning.

Review 17：If you are ordering a room, I recommend asking the side toward the woods, not the road. You can hear in the rooms on the road side a little noise from the cars drive through.

Review 40：The staff :very helpfull and friendly. We had a large room on the second floor ,road side, but were absolutely not disturbed by any noise (maybe the trains do not ride on friday evening !). Breakfast was exceptional and the staff professional and well trained. We will stay here again on our next trip even if we have to make a detour.

Review 110：Close enough to the downtown area so access to shopping is easy, but far enough away to make it feel like one is in the countryside. Staff was great and verry helpfull in all aspects. Breakfast was wonderful along with having the casino next door so you don't have to drive after having a good time at the table games. Parking is good. When going to Saarbrucken we will stay at Victor's again.

Review 111：Initial view was disappointing but inside was encouraging (starkexterior, busy road etc). Sound in room restricted to park/cafeactivities, intermittent and not disruptive for us and not late....sonoise not an issue in our room. Gave up on studying online lecture as itwas too slow to stream. Not a deal breaker for me though (businesspeople may think otherwise!) . canned music....not only here ofcourse...with all the wonderful potential it's always a shame to getaurally fed this pointless (and on a short loop) background.....music??? Nothing here really spoilt our stay but the location andsaarbrucken generally would not encourage us to return....it served apurpose and did it in a friendly and clean and tasty way. Mostlypositive then!

Good beds (we had asmall suite with extra bed which was very comfortable for child or adult(child size though). Room faced park and lake. For this only reason I will have to stay atother hotels on my following business trips to Saarbruken. Otherwise theplace is excellent.

Review 118：When checking in I was asked whetherI wanted the standard room on the street side or a quiet room on the other side for a surcharge... That should sort of warned me. In the evening the noise in the standard room was OK but in the mor ing the street turned into a pass through for heavy vehicles, it was really really noise. So if you book do ask for the quiet rooms for sure! Everything else in the hotel is OK.
