Built in 2001 and renovated in 2014, the Grenzmotel offers brightly furnished, level-access rooms which boast a spacious layout and modern en-suite facilities. Free WiFi is also available and rooms include mosquito nets.

Review 1：We were not able to get the heat on so we were very cold...! Although we set the heater on max it didn't help! You wrote that you were available in the evening but we could't find anyone in the reception area!
Review 2：There was nobody to ask. We came at noon and left about 9am. Not a single person. I wanted to make some changes on the invoice, which they left in my room - not possible. I knew, breakfast was optional and cost 8 €, but cafeteria was closed all the time, so we had to eat at the gas station.
Review 3：We came late, and there was instruction how to find keys to the room. Clean, quiet.
Review 4：Our name was on the door, so we know what room we had, the door was open with the key in it. The room was small with perfect beds and badroom, just what you need for one night.
Review 5：With heavy growth the sign for the motel was difficult to see, but the availability of the coordinates made the sat nav find the location easily. Very easy access to supermarket, MacDonalds, cafe etc. Easy access from and to the motorway. Excellent for someone just wanting to stop off en route.
Review 6：Lack of staff presence - did not see a single member of staff until we were driving out of the car park! Location on an Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Flensburg was definitely not what we were expecting!

Review 9：Question 2: we didn't see any member of staff but the rooms were ready and very comfortable and clean, so I reckon that the staff was excellent too!!
Review 10：We were very anxious to use wifi as we planned to meet up with a niece, and that was our only means of communication. We were unable to connect to wifi and no one was at the hotel to help either in the evening or in the morning. The owner was supposed to be there from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. We waited for some time to no avail. We wasted quite a bit of time, waiting, then trying to find another location for logging on. We found it strange that we had two hand towels each instead of a bath towel.

On leaving the same, reception was closed, called the owner, very friendly man, everything was already taken care of " Just leave the key in the door and have a nice holiday!" Wow, easy in and out, room was excellent, it was super hot weather, room was nice not too hot ? Parking the car right in front of our room door.

Review 38：Being a motel in an industrial area, this is not a romantic hotel. But the rooms are very good, parking is right in front of the room, the beds are nice, bathrooms clean and good. Very easily accessible from the highway. I arrived late and left early, so I did not speak to anyone, but e-mail communication about getting into the room was quick and clear. Definitely a motel to recommend!
