Reviews for Villapark Lipno Dreams

Review 1:Haughty and lazy staff, without interest and care. Example - although you pay extra 80 Euros for housekeeping, the beds are not made on your arrival, you find dirty spots in the house and have no assistance if necessary. The staff is unwilling - taking care just on payment, then most of the time is not present at the reception and unhelpful if you need anything.

Review 2:Great location, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and warm houses.

Review 3:There were no consumables. Not even soap in the bathroom. Everything is to be paid and ordered extra. Don't find it cool.

Review 4:The house was perfect furnished. It is quiet, clean and fresh. It was very warm inside. Leisure opportunities are very good.

Review 5:We would appreciate to get an information on arrival that there are no dishwasher tablets, rag or dishtowel available. During the weekend it was not possible to buy dishwasher tablets in whole Lipno. Also putting bed linen on 10 beds is not the most favourite activity after arrival, but ok, acceptable.

Review 6:Villa was spacious with big bedrooms and big living room. It was overally well equipped with and it had a very nice view. Check-in and check-out was easy. We have really liked staying there and we will be happy to book this villa again in the future.

Review 7:Impossibility to use a credit card at the reception. Missing/overloaded recycling bins.

Review 8:Location with a great view from the terrace/garden although it meant climbing a big hill to get to the house. Spacious house, clean and light rooms. Perfect for a family holiday.

Review 9:Why was Euro 85 cleaning charge in small print? Why stayed for 2 days, paid Euro 170. So nearly 50% more for cleaning! But for you there is no cleaning liquid, no soap dish in showers, no paper towels, nothing really to make your stay comfortable.

Review 10:The beauty of Lipno lake. Also the apartment per se is nice. However, we found there are better properties in Lipno for same or lesser price.

Review 11:I booked for ten adults and two children, ages 6 and 4. The booking was accepted "as is", then I received a call from a very friendly lady in the Netherlands, saying that we could not have the house, because the children count as adults. This I consider a mistake of the booking, which should have added that information from the beginning.

Review 12:The house was very clean and efficient. The reception was generous enough to allow us to arrive late and still stay for the night. Quiet location, it was wonderful for our family gathering for the wedding of our son, across the border in Austria.

Review 13:We were in town for a soccer tournament and unfortunately our washer and dryer was broken and they wanted us to pay to use the main facilities. You don't charge when what you offer is broke.

Review 14:We had an awesome stay and would go back again. The area was beautiful, the house was clean and modern and close to all amenities. I would definitely recommend this place and may go back some time in the future.

Review 15:The whomever managing this property is lacking the good behavior of dealing with tourists. There is no information booklet neither advanced email about any useful information except for Cesky Krumlov Rally. You have to ask about everything thing; WiFi, Firewood etc. The property manager tried to charge me of damages that never been done by my family; so exercise extra precautions of doing the pre-checks upon getting in to the property and inform the managers of any damages to the assets or to any of the moveable items (they tried to charge me of non noticeable damage on the garage door just because i parked my car in front of it). Additionally you need to bring with you your toiletries and kitchen towels, shower towels, garbage bags etc. moreover, be aware of the most expensive cleaning fee in Czech Republic (€115) but this was mentioned during the booking. Be aware also of the high probability of provoking your privacy by cutting the grass in front of the back door without advance notice, you might be also be need to be aware that the property manager may visit you anytime but from the back door which i found it impolite.

Review 16:The recreational activities in Lipno is very near by and Coop supermarket is in a walking distance from the house. The house is furnished with IKEA style and you feel really independent in it.

Review 17:The apartment itself was not that clean. However the cleaning fee itself was 115 euro and no towels and bed linen was not ready that we had to put it ourselves, put away garbage ourselves. Comparing that some chores we did the cleaning fee was a bit expensive that I realized that why was this place was not fully booked until the last minute.

Review 18:Good location The apartment was a separate house that we can use it independently

Review 19:Pricey cleaning fee, no dishwasher detergent, no sponge, worn-out broom, noisy (crackling) stairs, non-working door-bell

Review 20:Nice location, spacious house, cleanliness, well equipped kitchen

Review 21:We liked atmosphere of this area , facilities and there is everything, which one you need

Review 22:Few minutes from central attractions in Lipno , close to forest with a lot of berries and mushrooms

Review 23:Attitude of the owners, they try to charge for every possible detail and we didn't find the information correct.

Review 24:Location, privacy.

Review 25:Excellent location, close to recreation and services areas.

Review 26:Quite huge fee for dog (115CZK per day) and for final cleaning services, which was mandatory.

Review 27:Nice view to Lipno, in the centre of entertaimnent and sport activities, very good for children, big enought for 10 people, sauna included.

Review 28:I spent a week in the largest property they have with three families sharing a house. the property itself is brand new very spacious very comfortable and pleasantly furnished in an IKEA way! The fact that three families coexisted for a week without a row was testament to how nice the house was.The area is lovely and the house is very central. Had the snow been better we would have been able to ski in and out of the house but the snow was poor. Lipno itself has some very nice restaurants and plenty of places to eat and the mountain for family skiing is a joy. We felt totally safe in sending a group of young teens off to explore the mountain slopes in a group safe in the knowledge that there is only one way in and out of the mountain and the skiing is safe. For adults the skiing is fine and considering you can get two coffees and two doughnuts on a mountain café for 3 euro (yes that's for both) you cant go wrong. And Czech beer really is exceptional. The same for food. There is an Austrian resort five miles away that charges 6 euro for spaghetti bolognaise whereas Lipno charges 2. If you are bringing a family group you really cannot beat it for value.Similarly the ski lifts, gear and the ski school staff are exceptional. Particularly for children. I have had my children in ski schools from the age of six in France and in North America. The Czech instructors were the nicest most interested and most encouraging I have ever encountered. My children absolutely loved getting tuition from them and they would much sooner go back to Lipno than Whistler. I cant praise that more.Downsides? The trip from Prague is pretty long . The local shops are pretty poor. The house itself has some notable things lacking. One is a freezer compartment which meant we had to dump icecream we bought. There are fiddly arrangements with having to pay charges by bank transfer then having to pay cash for towels and for local taxes and so on. But they do flag this with you well in...

Review 29:Sauna was the one you cant throw water, that was sad.

Review 30:Location was okay, also staff was helpful.

Review 31:Super Location and very good value vs. quality. Possibility to book only a few nights is definitely a +
