Review 1：-Fitness it suppose to open at 6:00am, arrived at the fitness 6:30am and it was closed, no one could help me to open it. -Fitness(again) the fitness( equipment) are such a joke, I expected something better -Staff they are very dedicated, they want to help, but the English level needs to be improved.

Review 3：Great facilities and lovely staff. Kids club, run by Ms Sawson, was particularly good, as were all the desk and wait staff. Breakfast was good with a wide range of foods, both Egyptian, western and even Greek! Dahab itself is beautiful; it is very relaxed and chilled out. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and this area.

Review 4：You need a taxi to go into town, but this really is no problem. That are plentiful and very cheap.

Review 5：Staff were all wonderful from start to finish. This includes everyone from the reception to the servers. Beach is perfect.

Review 6：Unesixtant wifi. Uncomfortable beds, i had sleepless nights on a long planned and relatively expensive vacation from work to relax! The room had a bad smell. Dinner was below average which made us dine outside the hotel most of the time although we paid for halfboard accomidation.

Review 8：1) We found a lizard in the room,and when.we complained, they removed it then we were compensated with only a bad tasting juice2) the hotel is not 4 stars , even not having this certificate in reception as any other hotel/resort , and its confirmed during my stay, that i found nothing should comply to 4 stars 3)food was bad 4) pool is too old 5) rooms are so poor 6) & what made me frustrated most was that i booked 2 nights by booking, & afer i arrived on first day wanted to cancel my second night, they refused , & i almost Talked to every one from staff there to help tjey didnt, untill.i called booking.com inernational number and they cancelled the 2nd night 7) extra info , that i replanned my vacation and went to a neighbouring resort and it was awesome & a real 4 stars For.booking.com. I believe you should review the rating of stars for this resort

Review 12：- The dinner was bad , I tried it the first day only then i had to dinner outside , even that i had paid for it already at my 4 nights staying - The drinks ( pepsi , coke , etc ) are not included if you booked for a half board .. and their price were tripled (15 L.E) while you can get it outside at a 5 minutes away supermarket for 5 L.E - Other drinks were extremely over priced too - The bed wasn't that comfortable , it was a little hard - My overall experience was good and I had a good time

After 6 days in Dahab Resort Hotel moved to Swiss Inn, just behind the fence. For the cheaper price they're providing absolutely different quality of accomodation and food.

Giant cocroach was walking around, maybe it's ok given the desert location and greenery, but when I asked them to deal with it while cleaning the room, they didn't and I had to work hard to guide the poor creature out

Review 81：Very poor quality of the internet access. Effectively, it was absentmost of the time of our stay. Multiple requests to the hotel receptionand even the hotel's chief manager didn't help.Absence of the gym. It is announced on the web site and the hotel booklets but it was converted to spa and all machines disassembled and scattered through the hotel area. Loud air condition in the room which was not working in automatic mode. It was always on despite target temperature so it was too cold when we woke up in the morning. Mixed impressions from spa. Good cleaning and spa procedure but not very good massage.

Review 89：I am an American citizen traveling with my husband who is Egyptian. Itwould have been nice to know at time of booking that we needed amarriage certificate. I don't make it a habit to carry my marriagecertificate around with me. We ended up having to book another room(that we did not use at all) and we were still charged the doubleoccupancy rate on my original booking, so basically, we paid for 3people, when there was only two of us. The hotel couldn't cancel areservation made through booking, which was frustrating. In my entirelife, I have never been to a hotel that couldn't do anything when areservation was made from an external site. If we didn't book theextra room, I would have been charged $100 and the hotel couldn't doanything about it. While our vacation was enjoyable, it cost us muchmore than necessary. I won't use booking.com again.

Review 91：It was a lot more expensive in Egypt than we expected. Drinks in the resort were London prices! The decor is a little bit tired and could do with an update. A lot of the evening entertainment (such as the Bedouin night) were cancelled as there were not enough people interested in doing them due to the hotel only being at half capacity - and the events not being publised enough inside the resort.

Review 92：It's close proximity to a very nice beach. The resort is very green and pretty. Our superior double was very large and perfect for a couple with a toddler. The food is good - lots of variety. The hotel is very child friendly and the staff were very good with our son.

Review 100：1. We went to the hotel during Eid el fetr (feast time).. I can't believe that hotel did not provide any night shows after dinner for its guests like all the other hotels do. There is no animation team on the beach except one guy doing every day some morning exercises in the pool for 15 min'S. Lack of experience for lots of staff, I had to call the head waiter at dinner & ask him to play some house music instead of having dinner & listening to the forks & spoons of the other guests. The funny thing that one of the beach bar waiters (I dont want to mention his name) was attending my order to have some ice cream and when I asked him about one flavor what is it like or how it tastes, he said I dont know, I know only the name and I dont know what is made from, only managers they know and they are not available right now... Well I dont blame him he doesnt know that flavor of ice cream as I put all the blame on the fbm who puts staff on operation without full awareness of the nature of their job.. I can't believe really that there are waiters serving something & they dont know what is it or what does it taste...

Review 101：The reception at check in was very welcoming by Mr.Essam and for (Theyoung lady at the reception should at least smile to guests in front ofher or say Hello, she is at front desk not in funeral).. And also thelaggage man (can't recall his name) was so helpful & welcoming. Foodwas ok & overall the hotel was ok and fair enough to pay 340 $ for 3Nights hb basis.

Review 102：Although the rooms are quite satisfactory I do not consider thestandards to be that of a 4 star hotel, more like 3 star really. Inparticular our bathroom suffered from a terrible smell of drains atnight and early in the morning. We were also kept awake most nights bycats fighting right outside our windows which was annoying. But ourbiggest gripe is that upon arrival we were charged an additional $200for the hotel's "nye Gala". We were not notified of this when we madethe booking and were only informed by email a few days before arrival.All this got us was a pre-dinner cocktail, a slightly upgraded buffetfor the night and a pretty dodgy show. All other drinks were chargeable,not even a glass of champagne was included! Considering we had alreadypaid for half-board, I felt completely ripped off and just on principalI wouldn't stay here again.

Review 103：We paid a premium for a beach facing room which I would recommend toanyone considering staying here. As a windsurfer, I found that thehotel's location on the beach was perfect for accessing the best sailingspots. We were impressed with the hotel grounds which are beautifullymaintained with green lawns and colourful plants. The beach area itselfis good with plenty of sun loungers, although if you what to get frontline you will need to get up early to beat the Germans! The hotel has amore European clientele compared to other hotels in the area whichseemed to be full of Russians. There's a good selection of food whichwas perfectly edible but nothing to write home about. The generalatmosphere is nice and relaxed.
