Review 1：Steep steps to the second floor of the apartment. Somewhat strange shower bin with transparent door facing towards sleeping room- less suitable for family with big children.

Review 28：It is a good example of a successful family business. My wife and me stayed there during 3 weeks, every day was a real pleasure. We are elderly people (of 73 and 76) and, of course, we have good deal of personal problems typical for such age. When something of these problems arose we were generously helped by the penzion stuff. But the majority of the guests were much younger! I'd like to mark Modrý jelen's (by the way, it means the Blue Deer) location as a very successful. It is an exceptionally quiet place bordered by a beautiful forest and in tthe same time not far from the Lipno lake and so called Promenade - the main street with shops, restaurants e.t.c. Modrý jelen is the best place to Nature lovers who want, like us, to go in for fishing, picking mushrooms and wild berries (we have long not eaten so much wild raspberries and blueberries!) or skiing in winter. Lipno nad Vltavou surroundings have a definite cultural interest. It is advisable to visit a well-preserved medieval town of Cesky Krumlov.

Review 29：Nothing. The only thing is the road to get up there from the main roadis not well paved and is a bit bumpy. Not a big deal though.

Review 30：We had a wonderful stay at this Guesthouse!! It is a newly rebuilt andrenovated old farm and has been decorated so simply, yet elegantly. Veryclean, modern, and stylish!! The owner and his family run the place andso service is personal & individual and really great!! I can not sayenough about this place. When we left, we left with new friends!!It was a rainy, dreary weekend when we were there, but staying at this guesthouse made our weekend special!! Paul and his wife are so friendly and easy going and did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. They offer a nice breakfast in the morning with freshly baked breads & pretzels & eggs made to order by Paul each morning. They also offer dinner if you let them know that day. We stayed for dinner one night and it was AMAZING!! It was made family-style not from a menu, but was absolutely delicious. Even our kids devoured it and wanted more! Homemade warm strawberry desert with whipped cream for desert! Yum!! They sat down and chatted with us after dinner just like family or friends. We really enjoyed them. The night we didn't eat there I was craving chocolate and asked Paul if he had any chocolate. He searched and came back with a chocolate ice cream with whipped cream. Then of course brought it for the kids as well!The rooms are all large and very homey and comfortable. We had an apartment and the kids loved staying upstairs in the loft bedroom. Flat screen TVs and refrigerator too!! We utilized the sauna and hot tub two of the days as it was rainy. The whole family enjoyed that. They also have a small pool, but it was too cold to use during our stay. The pool and hot tub is all set in the back of the house overlooking the peaceful forest and facing the lake. You cannot see the lake from there although it is very close.The morning we left they even brought our kids out to feed the deer. So cool!!They speak English, German and of course Czech.
