Review 1：Small bathroom. Uncomfortable pillows. No parking- in edition parking is very expansive in Monschau but you can buy a parking permit at the tourist office next to the hotel (3 euro per day)

Review 6：It's an old building, meaning squeaking wooden floor, poor phonic isolation from the street and other bedrooms, you can hear the one above walking or taking a shower as if you were in the same bedroom. There is area for improvement. Maybe with the next renovation works...

Review 8：Info on carparking is out of date and Hotel was not easy to find du to car restrictions in the town centre. Tip...once you have checked in go to the local Tourist Office a few hundred meters from the hotel and get a Parking Permit. Much cheaper than 'pay and display' (think we paid 9Euro for the 3days)

Review 14：WIFI connection in the hotel is non-existent.You have to go on the terrace of the hotel or outside to catch it (if you are lucky you will get connected). Even though the hotel staff are well aware of the problem, they don't seem to do anything to improve it. The floor is very cracking, therefore you can hear every move of the people who stay above you.

Review 23：The location was convenient for walking to all attractions in Monschau, especially the Burgau (castle). The room was spacious, with a large wardrobe, and the staff and management were very nice. The bed was typical of German Gasthauses that we have stayed in.

Review 62：The freindliness was outstanding, You were made to feel at home in this lovely hotel. I have stayed many times now and it is still my favourite hotel in Monschau compared to the others I have stayed in. The coffee and cakes in the Cafe are also excellent and I recommend the Sahne Flocken.

Review 75：1. In spite of the fact that I specifically asked for a double room we were given a room with two beds. The room with double bed was given to other people.2. Internet didn't reach our room. 2. The pillows are huge and uncomfortable for one who is not used to it. 3. The blankets were too small and only covers you if you do not turn in your bed. Actually in our room the excess of pillow size could have been used to fill the blanket width.
