Review 1：Location wasn't what we expected. Be aware when you are booking that not all cabins have views as per photos shown.

Review 5：$300 a night for an upstairs 3 bedroom apartment is a little expensive. Though I understand is peak season. Kitchen utensils are quite worn out. Those non stick pans had their non stick surface scraped off. Pans n pots, chopping boards are not very clean. Towels are provided but no shower gel or shampoo.

Very friendly, they did bus station pick up for my family after we realised that there was no taxi or public transport at all @Tekapo; on the day we left this place, as we got a 3.00pm bus on schedule but we did need to checkout before around 11.00, one of the guys drove us to the lake side, let us play around for a few hours, and drove our luggage back before we get on the bus. Thumb up.
Review 8：Electricity was cut for a day with no advance notice. We were only informed after we checked and settled in. Be prepared to make changes to your plans. Their email response is that electricity cuts are beyond their control.
Review 9：Very good view of the lake from the house we were given. Star gazing at night was possible as it is pretty isolated. The house was well equipped with the necessary. Do take note there is no dryer.

We had a BBQ for the dinner and the dinner table is straight facing to the lake Tekapo. Such a great night living there, I even regret that I should've book more days here. I should go again!

Unfortunately we could not find what we were looking for in the souvenier shops which was disappointing. Too many trees being chopped down around the lake.

Review 57：The cottage is really still a building site with work occurring on the garage and finishing touches still to be done underneath the house. Probably best to let people know this prior. No hot water due to an issue with the system but the owners were very apologetic the next morning on checkout.

We called the receptionist, named Fann and advice for our late arrival and asked her help to call the famous Japanase Restaurant, Kohan to see wheter we can still book for our late dinner. She did in fact very helpful to help us to call and booked. And she in fact lead us the way to the restaurant after our check in cos the restaurant is almost closing. Review 77：In summer the metal exterior walls of the house may heat the house up like an oven. Coming back to the house after a warm sunny day the interior of the house was very warm. We had to open all widows to let out the heat. The house then cooled quickly. No big concern in autumn but it might be a problem in summer.

Review 82：Stayed at Ashley's Retreat for one night. The house is clean and well updated. It has everything we needed - a full kitchen, washer and dryer, hot shower, and a comfy bed. There is a partial view of the lake from living room and outdoor deck. The house is warm without turning on any heat in late March. The wifi works well.

The reception is at the different place of our living place, we found our living place by asking people who living around there…. and it is impossible to see the lake in the room. It takes about 5 min driving distance to the village center and the church.

We can not take bath that night due to the limited hot bath water, we were not informed when we check in; the chimney of blanket fireplace was squeaking whole night like a whistle due to high wind and can not make a sleep at all, poor night....
Review 91：Our favorite place during the whole trip in NZ. Even if it's not by the riverside, is perfect or even better than that. You can see Lake Tekapo in from the dining room, the sofa, the terrance and the little garden. It has a modern deco and i loved every corner of the house. It can be definitly my dream house! As an individual house with a few neighbors, it makes you feel like home. There are facilities for all needs, just take your food & wine and enjoy your time.
