Reviews for Lindner Hotel Eifeldorf Grüne Hölle Nürburgring

Review 1:Staff is really helpful and well oriented; Room is nice and comfortable; Location for Nurburgring experience is perfect; Food at restaurant is really nice; Breakfast is the best.

Review 2:I thought the level of comfort in the room was dreadful - very narrow and most uncomfortable bed - no Air Con - no Mini Bar and all very basic and terrible value for money

Review 3:Breakfast only

Review 4:Some of the breakfast was reheated day after day. Unable to check in in a wheel chair as the reception is unmanned and check in was at another hotel up a flight of stairs.

Review 5:It was very clean.

Review 6:Wi-fi is awful. It disconects every minute. If you stay over "dead period" i.e. Sunday to Monday you'le have to chaise for the receptionist in the hotel on the opposite.

Review 7:Hotel has a great location next door to the Ring. Breakfast is better than you can expect in a 3 star hotel. Rooms are rather big, clean and cousy. I guess it's one of the best playeses if you came for the Ring. Still, some things were annoying.

Review 8:The Nurburgring complex is slowly turning into a ghost town. All the restaurants and bars near to this hotel are now closed. Apart from breakfast, there is no food/drink available in this hotel, which is not acceptable for a 4* hotel. With the closure of the neighbouring bars/restaurants it means you have to drive out to restaurants in the evening, or use the nearby Lindner Congress restaurant which is very pricey. Shame, as in previous years when the facilities nearby were open this was a great place to stay.

Review 9:Modern, clean, well equipped rooms. Great location right next to the Nurburgring. Free wifi.

Review 10:Bad mattress, bad pillow. We had room 159 which seems next to some service room where some machine is running all night... After 7pm there was no personell around. The only way to buy something to drink (or eat) is at the front desk, but as there's nobody around after 7pm... The hotel is at the ring village, but is was totally closed. Even while it was weekend and some races were going on. Only places nearby to diner were in Nürburg village.

Review 11:Close to the Ring

Review 12:Location - if you arrive when there is not a race, the hotel is notstaffed, dark (and scary for a solo female traveler), wifi isturned off. Staff at the Congress across the street could care lessabout the guests. Will not return, despite my company having anoffice in the area.

Review 13:Restaraunt and bar servers in the Congress (across the street)were friendly.

Review 14:The website shows the hotel at the heart of the entertainment complex, however this is all but closed down with only 1 restaurant remaining open. When booking a hotel room with a double bed and not 2 singles, the double bed should not be made up of pushing 2 singles beds together.

Review 15:wifi was poor, unable to connect in room so had to sit in reception.

Review 16:comfortable clean rooms. good breakfast

Review 17:Wi-Fi wasn't very good & 10 Euros a night for parking

Review 18:Over priced, uncomfortable beds, staff weren't so friendly or helpful

Review 19:Expensive Parking

Review 20:Location ...

Review 21:Great location, very nice clean room. Perfect.

Review 22:det fanns ingen mat på detta hotell ingen wifi som fungerade

Review 23:No amenities at hotel.. All in the sister hotel

Review 24:Location, food, staff

Review 25:Wifi surcharge.....stupid Nothing else to do, just breakfast and sleep.

Review 26:Fine room + breakfast, correct service. Location

Review 27:Where was the in the room kettle??

Review 28:the pictures in the room, location of the hotel!

Review 29:Paying for parking

Review 30:Room was great

Review 31:Flat pillows? Need bigger better ones!

Review 32:I do not agree with paying to park your car in the hotel car park. Never done this before in any other German hotel. At 6 euros per day when there were hardly any other guests staying and the car park was nearly empty. WHY?

Review 33:The location was fabulous, across the road from the F1 track and approx 3/4 mile from the entrance to the Nordschlieffe track. Bar and steak house very good. Hotel clean and tidy and very relaxing.

Review 34:Parking is extra but not expensive

Review 35:The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us, they have a nice playground and play room at the hotel. The room was comfortable and large.

Review 36:No internet, even that wifi is about 10 euro a day. We were unable toconnect & did get a refund. Even the free computers in the foyer wasextremely slow

Review 37:The near proximity to the race track & a good selection ofrestaurants & bars behind the complex. Friendly & helpful saff

Review 38:wi-fi cost, and actually in my room wi-fi was very poor and it is not available at restaurants since restaurants are not a hotel territory

Review 39:the location of hotel, that the hotel card is the nurburgring cars as well, he kitchen... I pre-ordered the dinner at the hotel and it was just very good

Review 40:Great hotel for those visiting the Nurburgring or Nordschleife. Good parking, some of it secured behind gates, modern, clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Would stay here again

Review 41:There was no reception staff when I arrived (8 pm) which led to walking around and eventually going up to the hotel's luxury sister nearby to check in at their desk. The staff there were very polite and helpful. The WiFi signal was very weak in the rooms and cut out regularly.

Review 42:Clean, comfortable and right next to the Nürburgring

Review 43:Not much going on in the hotel. Definitely not on a par with the main hotel over the road but this was available and lower in cost.

Review 44:Location adjacent Nurburgring

Review 45:- Wireless Internet didn't work in two different rooms, and they couldn't do anything about it (weak signal) - No chair to sit at the table in the room. Had to pull a lounge chair over to the table to sit in.

Review 46:- Proximity to the Nurburgring - Excellent room - Helpful staff

Review 47:1. The Hotel is locked at night and with 1. 2. no staff on duty...VERY Very bad3. The Car Park Closed at Night 4. Sterile design 5. No atmosphere - like a boarding house 6. I was locked out of hotel one night and had to force doors open to get in after been left outside in minus conditions with no parking either. The electronic card not working even to get into my room. I called the emergency number from the reception ( NO STAFF) and they told me to go pick up a new key from another Hotel (outrageuos). The room I recieved had a lighting gantry and spot lights above it an attempt to be a themed room maybe for a child. the bed was for the size of a child also. very very cheaply done and an overpriced stay I construct 5 and 7 star hotels in the middle East and this one I would rate as one star only and priced very high. The standard I would recomend only this to students they would never afford this and probably is less value than a Premier Inn of which normal has fulltime staff and room service. not good and never again.. it spoiled the weekend.

Review 48:Location only

Review 49:Breakfast had been hanging around way too long. Hot items were tired anddry. Fruit salad felt fizzy on 1st day so I left it. Tried it again outof curiosity on 2nd day as it looked like the same batch...not good! Day3 had *fresh* fruit salad and was good. Shame that in an otherwise emptyrestaurant I had to ask for coffee. All the above could be fixed soeasily with a bit of caring and training.

Review 50:Location for Nurburgring is almost unbeatable. Reception staff weregreat and accommodating.

Review 51:No free internet for guests? Seriously? It isn't that hard to install a network filter to display a room-unique code on the television for the guests to register with. Oh, and the eggs were a touch salty on Saturday.

Review 52:I tend to notice the smaller things: very minute details. The eye level green helmet logo with horns that told the room number was an instant win in my book. For some reason, I also really liked how the television said something to the tune of "Welcome Mr. Jelson."

Review 53:Everything was excellent. We have no criticisms.

Review 54:A modern, very well designed hotel with attention to every detail. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also very good. Overall we were very impressed with the high standard of comfort and service.

Review 55:The hotel is right by the Grand Prix track, has a lot near by, looksgood when you look at it online, but in reality it is like a ghosttown, no one around and only one bar and one bar/restaurant open. Thehotel is very new and very clean but is defintley no frills, small roomwith two single beds pushed together, small tv with 3 english/americanchannels and a safe. No tea or coffee making facilities, no iron ortrouser press. We were very disappointed in the hotel, especially forthe price of it, you get more at an english premier inn and for a thirdof the price !!!

Review 56:Fredrick the receptionist was very helpful.

Review 57:Wi-fi broke very shortly into our stay but the staff credited us the cost. Very little facilities around the hotel were open when we arrived and we had to drive into town to eat. The nurburgring area is pretty much a ghost town when there are no major events going on. No 24 hour reception; it closes at 9pm and opens at 9:30am.

Review 58:Modern facilities and large room. All usually amenities were included except wi-fi which was 9.95 euros for 24 hours.

Review 59:Checked in around 10PM, and no one was at the desk of the hotel. Needed to check in through the rather brusque clerk at the associated hotel across the street.

Review 60:Ultramodern design in rooms, despite half-timbered exterior of building. Hotel itself is actually very new, and it shows. Breakfast was excellent, and restaurant staff was welcoming. Hotel location is right across from main Nurburging attractions, and only a few minutes from track entrance to the Nordschleife.

Review 61:Parking should be free, but fine to park across the road if travelling with a car trailer. Annoying to have to negotiate with the parking guys who were charging for the race event every time we went in and out of the car park - the hotel should issue a card or something. The Ring card system is ridiculous and time consuming for no benefit The Bar service was very slow. 1st night we waited 20 minutes for a drink, the 2nd night we were with friends to eat and waited 20 minutes at table before walking out to another restuarant - your loss!

Review 62:Happy with the stay.

Review 63:The breakfasts are really poor, I have stayed here 3 times now andsimply eat elsewhere, the selection is poor and the "hot" food is acongealed mess. I have raised this issue with the management on aprevious occasion but the same stiff keeps being served. I willprobably stay elsewhere next time because if this as well as chargingfor parking.

Review 64:Very local to the entrance of the Nurburgring gp circuit. The staff arevery good and do their best to help with any requests.

Review 65:If you are into racing. This is the place to stay in nurburgring. Right across from the track. Very new, modern hotel.

Review 66:No reception after 20.00, poor wifi, no drinks bar, food or what so ever.

Review 67:Location ok.

Review 68:Shame that the whole ringwerk complex is currently closed.

Review 69:Excellent staff, top breakfast.

Review 70:no coffee or tea available in the room or hotel

Review 71:service

Review 72:nothing

Review 73:location, night next to Nurburgring, efficient friendly staff

Review 74:Proximity to the Nurburgring and good sized room

Review 75:VERY expensive for what it was, would not stay there again.

Review 76:Clean and tidy

Review 77:Lack of night time entertainment and socialising bar.

Review 78:Classic clean and fresh. The perfect business hotel

Review 79:Almost as good as the much more expensive hotels over the road but formuch less money.

Review 80:Little bit cold room Only 2 English tv channels and no Italian one

Review 81:Great breakfast Excellent staff

Review 82:all excellent

Review 83:Excellent location, staff was great!

Review 84:Perfect, quality hotel. Perfect for Nordshleife visit. Have stayed before and will stay again. Walking distance to GP circuit. Highly recommended.

Review 85:Its was really strange that the hotelbar closes at 11 pm on saturdayevening. Also the menu regarding diner was not very much to choose.

Review 86:Modern facilities & design. Located next to the race track.

Review 87:Great value given location & high standard of hotel
